Build the TAMIYA 1/24 1966 VOLKSWAGEN 1300 BEETLE vol.1

This is the first time I have made a plastic model of a Tamiya car.
The fit between the bonnet, the rear hatch and the car body is not good, but the others were assembled smoothly.
The engine is also well reproduced.
The window is a separate part on each side, so it is realistic.
This time, it will be a video of the engine and chassis part.
It will be completed in the next video.

Dude I’m a vw guy and I absolutely love it. I try to find old vw’s and basically this is the way we find them all rusted and a few different colors. Anyway great job my friend

Thank you. Originally painted vintage Beetles in Japan are mostly rusty. Beautiful Beetle is all repainted. I like old rusty Beetles, and original painted Beetles are more valuable in Japan.

The Tamiya model beetle is a little troublesome lol.I gave up on the way. It's amazing to be able to assemble until the end! And it's nice to have an old atmosphere! By the way, I am currently making a junk item for AMT's Ford C600, which will be completed soon. I'm going to upload a video, so thank you!

Thank you very much. Due to the difference in the character of the plastic model, it is easy for some people to make it, but it is difficult for others to make it. Certainly, Beetle was a difficult plastic model because it has moving parts. When your model is complete, I will be happy to appreciate it. Let's continue to be good friends!

このタイプのビートル、私も作りました。若い頃はスポーツカーのプラモデル作りがほどほどでしたが、ビートルはたまたまデパートで見かけて何となく作ってみようとと思い作り始めましたが、かなり細かい部品が多くて作りごたえがありました。完成したビートルはスポーツカーとはまた別の世界感があってカッコイイと思いました。リヤエンジン搭載の大衆車は今となっては貴重な存在です。ビートルはその後片付けられて物置きに置いてありましたが、部品が外れて、部品が紛失してしまいました。ビートルが可哀想になり、部品は自作して復元する予定ですσ^_^;

物置に置いていた模型を修復するっていうのは、ガレージに置いてきぼりの古い車のレストアと同じですね。1/1と1/24の違いだけです。スポーツカーは憧れ、旧車はノスタルジックな愛着、車って人にとってその人だけの物語がありそうです。ワーゲンは、バスも含めて複数作るつもりでいます。なんとなく、懐かしい、心くすぐられるような、大事にされた旧車に出会うと俄然、カーモデルを作りたくなります。コメント何度も読んで、とてもいい気持ちになりました。ありがとうございます。
