*About the kit
I always make pretty old plastic models, so the relatively new Tamiya kits are wonderful and I was impressed while building them.
The parts were designed with painting in mind, so I was able to assemble them without hesitation.
The latest kits are great.
I want 2000GT with this quality.

I drew a wiring diagram with reference to the picture on the net and made the piping.
Since there is no coil in the engine parts, I made it with a 2mm plastic rod.
Added a battery holder to the battery.
Since the size of the distributor is large, the plug is an aluminum pipe with an inner diameter of 0.4mm and an electric wire of 0.4mm.
The wiring on the distributor side is stressful, so I came up with an easy way to wire it, so I'll try it next time.
Throttle parts are made from insect pins, 0.6φ brass pipes, and etching scraps.

Precautions when assembling the main unit
The assembly of the nose consists of two parts, and it is better to temporarily assemble while aligning the positions.
While looking at the gaps in the bonnet and the gaps in the tire house, I will temporarily assemble.
In my case, it was off by about 1mm, so I scraped the joint part.
Opening and closing the hood
The hood is a type where the tip sinks into the body and opens.
After opening and closing the hood several times, the hinge parts are weak and there are areas where it rubs and the paint peels off.
It is better to think of it as a selection formula to insert it in the open state or to insert it in the closed state.
As I was assembling it, I thought that there is a lot of room in the hinge space, so if you enjoy opening and closing, I think it would be better to make your own hinges.

At first, it was orthodox wine red, but changed to titanium silver.
I like drawing lines on cars.
I drew two black lines and made the bonnet gunmetal.
The bonnet was painted silver, but when I drew the black line, the line stood out and changed the impression of the body.
It's the difference between looking at the actual car and looking at the model.
