So at 200 hours , once you figure out how to do it on gabes will you be able to offer this as a service for others but with an actual feasible price ? Cause I assume great work , powder coat , parts , etc this would run $30k+ for anyone else ? Do you think this will be something you offer cheaper once you know exactly what all needs done and how to do it a lot quicker without the learning process ?
Potentially yes, the real factor is the AS69RC trans he has factory, if he didn’t have that his truck would’ve been done and out of here already. And also saved thousands and thousands of dollars. I reccomend if you want to do this, don’t use a factory as69 truck. But if ya do, we should have a module for it
With all that expertise being thrown at writing code for that truck , maybe the next project can be helping the world crack the 22’ ECU or tuning for the Aisin 🙃 big $$$ to the first guy who does!
200 hours at a very very generous 80 dollar per hour is 17grand. Plus the finders fee on all the parts, the time after this video to get it done, this will end up costing half the initial investment of the truck to complete it. Pretty penny.
We are not taking in anymore work for probably a year or so unless it’s smaller dab jobs and such, sorry man! But a manual swap on a 4th Gen any solid shop should be able to do no problem unless it’s an AS69 truck
