Thanks for the information and I’ll be making one of this for next year. All about saving time and fire wood I only make around 10 to 15 gal of syrup a year for family

Absolutely Mike! Good luck. We are all over the board. This year only did 7 gallons as it was crazy early and we had sturgeon spearing going on. Thanks for watching!

I'm impressed you actually bought something from smokey lake, i thought you were to frugal for that stuff lol. now if you can convince yourself to buy that new arch like your buddy has.

Hahahaha. We took the proceeds from selling syrup to upgrade! Your right though. Our cooler is very inefficient. Someday. We will see :) we keep adding times we may need too!!!

@@littlesilverstead you keep adding taps and you will need something for next season.

Can you run it through twice and get it up to 5 or 6%?

You could. Industrial ROs sometimes have multiple stages where the concentrate (sugar) is run from one stage to the next. You could buy a few extra RO membranes and housing to cycle your sugar up higher. This does have a limiting return and certainly isn’t as efficient as the industrial membranes. Hope this helps.

What pump did you buy for this?

Below is a link to the same pump. Shop around as it may not be the cheapest. www.amazon.com/Aquatec-6800-Booster-pump-Transformer/dp/B074PCVH36/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?crid=3BPO87BVX6FTB&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.OWkrGV2TTrT5n4P5rBvimnQ4GGC1arVlWiuuKBeZsX5oYTaNkAC-7Z4nKGzgm0NCXD2xy9NoWOl6ZbdbvVo9zXLBBHrTWZZbD00A0esOYQOX2Dvjw7bZUWR9GIj6GM1BGOjRRu4ybFDpCdWbTxJx8XodDx1XfkzqvxKMgZ_6EG_x0GQc1ttgVvdPHRI0tzG5B3vy24vQdMMPS2x-Sol2OA.g5x9nDHPXX-NYIcff3YCUggz6aCemq5BgVFC5oEaYdU&dib_tag=se&keywords=ro+booster+pump&qid=1707939564&sprefix=ro+booster+%2Caps%2C224&sr=8-11
