Finally someone who doesn’t spend $20,000 on a trailer! You are the most realistic person on RU-vid that I’ve seen , every other person that owns their own company goes in the debt 20 to 30 K.
Really enjoyed your video!!! I've been doing some pressure washing and a little bit of soft washing in the past few months. I like everything you've done to your trailer and will probably copy your rig in the next month or so. Already have a 4000 psi 4.0 gpm Honda powered pressure washer and a smaller unit that I started with. My plan is to mount the power washer on the trialer without the wheels so that it's permanently mounted and use the smaller unit as a roll around unit. I've acuumulated a lot of the stuff I need over the past two or three months, just haven't decided on a trailer yet. I keep looking on Craig's List and I'm sure one will pop up at some point that I can mount everything in and have a dedicated power wash trailer.
When you started showing the softwash tank, my 1st thought was, "softwash tank? I don't see no set up for that!" But then you went and showed the baby pump and the rest of the setup, I sat my ass done and hushed up. 😂😂
Good info man. Just bought the same pressure washer and starting up for the first time here in about a week when everything gets in. I ended up spending a bit more and hope its enough. Pressure Washers Direct def took the time to help me and answer any questions I had without aggravation. Can't say enough good things about em. Good luck and keep the helpful videos coming.
Very clean simple one of the best i seen so far thanks for sharing .If you cant build your own when starting then you dont belong in this business. Buy new built after you build your business
Thank you for this video. That helps a lot person like me . I’m just set up my trailer and I’m doing everything by videos like your. I really appreciate if you can recommend what water filter use to my 8 gpm machine and my buffer tank feeding? Thank you
Im doing the same but im buying an enclosed trailer so that it can stay locked and safe from any rain or snow. Enclosed ones will also help a little with the noise probably
Best video out of all of them. As I’m trying to put one together. Tons of trial and error. You had ,Mentioned no air bubbles. As my plumbing can use critiquing and advice I will do a video soon if you get a chance I would love your feedback thanks
Kenny great video learn a lot about plumbing a trailer. just getting started in the pressure washing business I don't have a trailer yet but working on it the hose that feed your chemical will the pressure drop on the reel hose when the chemical is returning back into the chemical tank is it open when you are using the system to soft wash
Great video. As to the unloader valve on your pressure washer. I understand that the 3/8th blk. line just comes out of the washer and loopes right back into the flo valve. If you run another 3/8th line from the top back to your tank. What do you do with the short 3/8th line that goes back into the pressure washer and now it is only connected at the bottom? Do you have to run another line from the tank to it, to finish the connection. My son want to get started in the business and I want to help him with the building of the trailer, but I'm a little confused on this part. Thanks for any help that I can get.
Does your soft side have enough balls to reach like a 2 or 3 story peak to apply chem during a housewash? And if so how long does a full tank last you or is it sufficient enough to not even worry about running the chem tank out.
Your brass gun on your soft wash reel, it has a cone jet type tip? What range are you getting out of that when on jet? . I like that you can dial it down to a mist it's also nice to be able to put it more on the stream and shoot it longer range
On your soft wash system, does that setup allow you to reach far for roof washing without having to walk the roof? I'd like some info on where to get that brass gun/wand setup. Thanks.
So do you have any trouble with the chemical tank leaking at the bottom plumbing connection? Just curious. I want to get a bigger bleach tank but thought having one with no plumb hole in the bottom would be better for leaks. Let me know man. Thanks. Yours looks great.
Hello, so I am looking at putting a water refill spout on my trailer to refill my 600 gallon tank instead of using fire hose and having someone hold it to refill. Have you ever installed one yourself? Do you have any recommendations on the parts/pieces needed to install it?
Clean setup do you help ppl build there setup my friend I recently bought my trailer n pressure washer equipment but I’m having trouble setting everything up
Awesome video and great setup! Any thoughts about adding T valve after the chem tank/before the filter so you could add a fresh water line to flush the low pressure hose?
Everything you said here is true, it's cheaper to do a setup yourself, it's real cheaper. Even for a truck bed skid. Just get a powerful enough engine and a powerful pump, hook them up together. Plum them, your done. You can save hundreds to thousands. That's what I'm doing right now, but on the 1st buy, I bought the wrong engine, I can't use a Vertical Shaft😞 So now I have to get rid of this one and buy the right one. I did my research but never looked on that topic. Trial and error.
Good advice and straight to the point; how much do you make per day on average working by yourself? I know that's a rather intrusive question, but I asked it anyways lol
Guys you city guys have got to get it together on trailer weight distribution. I’ve seen 4 people wreck right in front of my farm because they load skid loaders tractors etc on the axle. You gotta get that weight up on the tongue so your truck is is soaking up half the weight. You go down the road especially on rain soaked roads that weight back there literally lifts your truck axle up off the ground and you will lose control. Trust me on this. Not jumping your ass. Just don’t wanna see you get yourself in a wreck. Water weighs 8.33 pounds a gallon. That’s 2290 lbs you have waaaay back on that axle with damn near none of it on the tongue and truck. Put the tank up front and the washer and smaller tank towards the trailer axle and you will be much safer going down the road.
Nice rig i got about it all gathered up the stuff to build one .i do not know how much to charge i guess i could ask my competition that's if i get in the game any thoughts
Nice of you to post this very informative video. Will it be too much to ask you to include the parts list for the novices like me who are motivated to follow in your footsteps?
I got lucky and picked up a 275 water tank for free, saw a yard with tons of them went to purchase one and they said they had no need for it and were trying to clean up,they loaded it up in my truck now that's 1 less thing I have to purchase I'm in the process of rigging up my trailer
