Tbh, I am in love! With the size and the design of this pool. We see larger pools than this everywhere, it’s hard to find small one like this and I’m glad to have found one. I want to get a backyard pool like this one in the future. It’s small but it saves you a big trip to go to beach or public pool I mean what the hell it’s awesome! You can even set up garden cinema, pool parties with family. Also what a great job she did it her own, very smart. I will have to hire professionals as my maths and skills aren’t good in this subject. Thanks for uploading. Can’t wait to show my mum :)

I have been thinking about a pool for some time and having seen ALL your (amazing) pool videos. We've now broken ground and have 7 tons of blockwork around the garden along with soil everywhere (going a bit larger and all has to be hand moved through a narrow pinch point). Not expecting to be complete till next year though.

Using wood planks around the pool is a very good idea, and i have never seen it before. It wont be slippery and water drips from body could run down under the wood planks easily, minimising messy floors. Although i wonder if after years of sun and rain, the woods would deform or become ugly

I love the video and of course i love that a woman did the job. I myself (F) do all the building around our house and i love to see more women taking on projects like this. I am thinking about building a pool myself. I am living in Tennessee and we have 9 months of good weather for pool usage. The only thing holding me back is all the electric and plumbing. While i can and did wire up a garage and house i am shying away from this. Your video made it look achievable. You can be very proud of yourself doing this and clearly your kids enjoy it.

I can't say I know much about pools, but this looks pretty nice, definitely the best DIY pool I've seen. I see you had space constraints, but if I were to do this, I'd go a little bigger and deeper.

You forgot one item. Full face respirator US $50. Even in a well ventilated area chlorinated rubber paint VOC will mess you up. Beautiful pool!

Its a good job however the special pool plaster coating should have been applied after concrete finish to make the pool last longer as well as sealant and treatment spray
