Thanks for the review! I'm hoping you'll look at the game again later on when it has more features and do an updated review because I'm interested in this type of game and would love to know if it becomes worth playing!

Thank you for the warning. I had (stress on past tense) this on my radar and I am glad I stuck with my motto of never buying an early access title. (Only once I have not been disappointed by buying those and that rare case was Vampire Survivors so yeah...) If the developer is willing to release such clusterfunk into early access then this project will likely be abandoned.

You bet, and thanks for watching! Honestly, I have pretty low hopes for BOG, especially considering that the devs are simultaneously working on an identical-looking game called Builders of Egypt. Reeks of a copy/paste cash grab, but we'll see...

Weren't they supposed to be working on Builders of Egypt and the Viking one too. I still haven't seen if they've released those yet either.

Dude, they're supposedly working on Builders of Egypt, Builders of China, an untitled Viking Builder... the devs are either genuine yet overenthusiastic folks or running a copy/paste cash grab scheme 😂

Not even sure if I'd say "new." At least Kingdoms Reborn had real-time building animations. In BOG, buildings just pop into existence.

Kinda funny that we've never gotten an ancient history Anno game (have we?). Ancient Greece during the Bronze Age would be cool.

man i put this on my wishlist last night, i was really hopin it was like Ceaser III which to me is the pinnacle of city building along with Zeus and Poseidon by sierra games
