a strategy I employ in basebuilding is living at the top of a hill, and diging a trench around the space my base occupies, and building up behind the ditch just a little bit, keeps everything except spiders out

This series is so helpful, I've only made it to day one so far with this mod but it's honestly fun despite the grindy aspect of the game. Thanks for making these!

I'd agree with the bit about sticks @2:10, and pointy sticks since a pointy stick is a tool (most other tools also stack in terrain) and a stick is a resource - but then pointy sticks don't stack, which would limit their use. Sticks make great markers this way, by the way. @3:05 - First hat meeting - priceless :D @16:00 - missed some free pork there

something cool they could add to spice things up would be more varied sound effects since you'll be hearing the same ones for most of the early game

the only thing i hate about 1.5.2 is you cant disable the cave noises, its because cave noises gave me ptsd as a person who has anxiety.

If you can do hardcore with this you get hardercore Minecraft
