Gas bottle for an air compressor how to Make an Air compressor tank from an old Gas bottle | Gas Cylinder. in this video I will show you how I made a 45 kg propane gas bottle into an air compressor tank. I will also show you the special tool I made to remove the valve from the gas bottle and I will be restoring the air compressor back to usable used for my workshop.

Are you from south africa do you think that direct drive compressor will be able to feed that big thank. Nice work

Hi, no I'm not from South Africa, yes it should do, it's only twice the size of the original. At the end of the day all I'm doing is pumping air into it :)

Found a hairline crack on the top of my compressor, and any drain time its drain rusty coloured water, so its had it. Took the motor and fittings off it and was thinking of doing exactly the same as this. A big thank you for this, just what i was after. I gather its held up just fine?
