And the Oscar goes to…. anyone but those guys.
Back with another build. This time we took to the Rocky mountains to make a log cabin Elk blind tower. The chinking and roof are gonna have to be finished at a later time because we overestimated our building speed. If we had started with the chainsaw and four wheeler from the beginning we probably could’ve finished fully on time. However the trailer was stuck too deep in a snow drift at the start of the trip.

As an octogenarian who who sought adventure in many places I was hooked from the start of your journey. Obviously you young men had already established a bond through your service together that is difficult to replicate outside that environment. Great example for young men of todays world of social isolation and video games. Great stuff, hope you can build upon this in either the same or different context.

I appreciate how much of sharpening the tools is shown. Like Abraham Lincoln said, if I had eight hours to cut down the biggest tree I'd spend the first six hours sharpening the axe. You guys should try posting some shorts of funny moments for filler content between videos!

Ok, just came across your video for making a log tower……. I think you boys are on to something. Very entertaining and educational. Now I dare say, I doubt your parents were much more than 10 or 11 when these movies came out. I was ten when Jeremiah Johnson came out and I’ve seen it probably a dozen times and you pretty much nailed it. I was a first year teen when The Holy Grail hit the theaters and once again I’ve seen that movie a dozen times. You not only nailed that, but to the tee! That was great! Under 30,000 subscribers in a year? You boys will go far

I was about 8 when Holy Grail came out. I ran around saying, "Nnnnneigh" and annoying the hell out of everyone. Later it was "Ickyickyboombatangzimbowie." I was shocked these boys knew the skit at all. By now I really shouldn't be. edit* oops! i was 8 when I SAW the movie; turns out I was only 2 when it came out.

Great. Just like last time, "I'll skip to the good parts" leads to me watching a 40 minute goddamn video. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a couple homies building a fort and recreating famous movie scenes that looked surprisingly good. Were either of you in the Army? The reason I ask is that, besides randomly quoting Major Payne, the whole bit on intercostal spaces is damn near word for word what our medics taught us. Only suggestion I have: needs more dog.

Add a larger tall more expansive bridge for when the melt rain makes that tiny creek look more like a river. Can use larger stones as anchors on each side and even pillars. Move it by log rolling if needed. Like they did in England for the stone hedge but smaller stones.
