Pardon me for asking here, but I could not understand the function of the two boards underneath the top plates that appear in about 3:38. They are brown, & long, & exist under the glue joint while you are gluing. You already are suing painters blue tape to minimize the glue squeeze-out, & the joined plates are now a bit bowed in the glue-jig
No problem in asking at all. So, the board is not for squeeze-our, as you figured. It is there mostly to provide a flat bed for the two plates to meet consistently all along their glue line instead of only in the three places with the sticks. You are right there is some bowing going on when tying the rope but that all but disappears when the wedges are in place. Anyway, it is not entirely necessary
trabajo de amor por una guitarra dicen que el perro es el mejor amigo del hombre pero pienso que la guitarra es la mejor amiga del hombre,,,,,,,,,,pienselo
The thickness the computer tells me to! Haha. I do resonance analysis and measure density of each top to calculate target thickness. So it varies. In this case if I remember correctly I was aiming for 2,4mm. But I always let some extra material on that I take off only when final sanding the guitar, so it protects a little against dings and scratches during build
Qualquer um de análise de frequência. Eu uso direto no software de edição Reaper, mas também tem muitos outros. Se você quer no celular tem o Spectroid, que é um aplicativo pra Android.
