Went from watching new boat videos to your diy t top, to several other of your related videos, to this bike video and now I’m a subscriber! Love the videos, your knowledge, process of building and problem solving while working on these projects. It’s like I tell my wife anything I do anything that’s random and custom, I t’s a process because there’s no prefab parts and instructions. At this point we are literally the manual. Oh and that fact that you also save random parts made me feel a little less crazy. Reduce, reuse, and recycle! Everything comes in handy down the road!
David Every now and then when making these videos gets a little old I get a nice comment like yours and I am all rejuvenated and ready to keep on keeping on. Thanks Barry
This was so entertaining and educational to watch I made my wife watch it too. She loved it and thinks you two are just great. Another win Barry. Great job!
Robert There was a company making them in the recent past but I think they must not be around any more. The original design is a century old. For me, one and done. Thanks Barry
Absolutely amazing the joy of watching your brain full throttle on this kind of projects is priceless, Merry Christmas and best wishes for you and your family, the boss knocked it out of the park again!!!
KK you are a kind Sole. I am old so computer crap is hard for me. But.... when you click on one of my videos (at least with an i phone ) a little picture pops up in a circle. If you click on that it should show all of my videos in chronological order. I hope this is what you are asking. Barry
@@barrylukebuilds7894 thanks, yeah, I can sort by date, it's cool! I was wondering if you have more bike-projects lined up? If so, do you ponder about making a side car bike? My wife is disabled, would be cool to build something like that. Or a bike with a front seat for disabled people (fun for kids as well). Thanks so much for your videos. Hope you keep 'm coming.
The problem I see with this design is balancing the different weights of the two riders. So it’s either made for a specific team, or everything needs to be adjustable.
Marsh It would seem that way but that is not how it really works out. I have 35 lbs on my wife and it is totally unnoticeable. The bike will just lean a little until the center of the load is vertical with the tire contact with the street. It is not some thing you think about or adjust for, it just happens. Thanks for watching! Barry
Dave That can be done and they are also called "side by side' bikes. Maybe one day but first I want to build a unicycle. But before that I need a lathe. So that hopefully will be coming soon. Thanks Barry
@@barrylukebuilds7894 I purchased my first lathe 1 yr ago and love messing around with it ! If I may suggest get one that’s at least 8 x 24 you won’t outgrow it so fast ! Mine is a 7 x 12 and I’m almost outgrown it ! Outgrown it means to get better and to do bigger things .
