I can’t tell you the hours I put into Quake 3 and Soldier of Fortune when I had my Dreamcast. Being able to play with Keyboard and Mouse, play on a PC monitor via VGA adapter was so awesome.

You're my hero man! A while ago I was thinking about create my ultimate PS2 with a clear case w/ led and a SSD to run backup games. Seeing u assembling your ultimate dreamcast was so inspiring, I hope one day I could de the same!

i really love people keeping the dreamcast alive, I have a stock one and a modded one. Is the SD CARD MAKER just a old version of GDMENUCardManager by sonik-br or something else entirely? And if it is something else... where does it come from? Is there a webpage?

I love how even people going on hardcore field stripping the Dreamcast keep on perpetuating the myth that the battery is a rechargeable one. There is no rechargeable CR2032 battery. Doesn't exist. And do you have any idea what would happen if the system expected such a miracle battery, and you just plopped in a regular CR2032?.. There WAS this couple years long era in the life of the original batteries inside, during which if you played some, next time you came back to the machine, it acted as if while playing the previous session, the battery got charged. But no, it was just recuperating some of its power while the load was off of it. As all batteries recuperate some when not in use. But that is a clear sign of a dying battery, and not a miracle... and neither charging.
There is the ML2032, which is a rechargeable version of the same dimension and spec battery. So, unless you wanna argue semantics and details of CR2032 vs ML2032, then yes, a rechargeable version does exist.
@@cackoocacho1629 Hallelujah. Believe me, i know rechargeable battery technology exists. Now i know there is a particular product with a puzzlingly close name to the CR2032. Regarding the Dreamcast, and for example PC motherboards, this does not mean a thing though.

The VRM does overheat due to lack of sufficient load on the 12V line. Maybe that's why most people remove it entirely when using ODE, or they drop a 1KOhm resistor across it? Also, it's not an "electronics problem", that's actually a simple electrical problem. Just like Ohm's law, is an electrical law, not an electronics law. I'm sure your stupid smug ass is the ultimate in perfection though.
