Hei I've been facing problem. Recently I moved out to grandma house. She has 24inch old sharp tv. When I plug my ps5 it just goes blank, no picture. It display 1080p 60fps on screen but all black. Any ideas?

WinME is an awesome OS for retro with today's mature drivers. Aside its known advantages, it even consistently beats Win98SE and Win2000 in most benchmarks. WinME+1.4Ghz Tualatin+9600XT ou Pro just for that extra oomph to go along with the CPU, solid as a rock, will take care of anything up to late 2003 and will look good doing it. I've never understood the DOS argument against WinME. DOS games are of course perfectly playable if you launch them from within Windows ME, which is more than fine for the games most people want to play, and if you're a DOS purist, why would you even run DOS games on a PC with hardware from this era anyway?... Hope you found your Tualatin+board combo Eric. Just skip the slotket adapters and go for a native Tualatin supporting board, not worth the hassle. Abraço
Please could you share the list of all the components you assemble together, especially the 4-slots ISA to PC104 card? We cannot clearly see in the video how they all got connected.
I think the memory mapping error may have to do with having too much main RAM, I see a lot of old software from this era freak out if the machine has too much RAM or VRAM because it can't read numbers that large and just assumes its a gigantic negative number. As for Windows XP crashing, that's almost definitely an incompatibility with your southbridge, you can fix that with something like nLite or WinSetupFromUSB which has options to force drivers onto the install media. I had to do that for my eMachines build and it worked.
Hi, nice Video. Thanks for sharing. After sseing your 3dmark I had to run this Again on my Athlon XP 2600+. In Win98 I came to 2750 points. So there should be a huge Potential in changing the CPU. Greetings

useless to have 2 slots unless it is different systems. there are many consoles like this these days and some have 3 slots with snes , nes and genesis slots.
Something funny about the controller is that it wouldn't even need a shift register because of the fact that it uses DB9. So theoretically it could just be a board with contacts and a few wires. Kinda funny
Wondering if, you were running Windows 7 32-bit instead, if you would've been able to find drivers for some of the graphics cards, XP drivers would probably work with the XPDM compatibility mode on Windows 7. Course, I don't have my hopes held too high about it, haha.
I'd imagine it would just prioritize one of the games. Maybe not though as there is a slide mechanism that covers one of the slots, so it could also just fry one or both of the games.
Very nice video fellow american here from the USA, I am glad this popped up on my feed. I love Brazil and always wanted to learn more about the culture, people & technology. Since the country's language is Portuguese, I can understand some of it being from a latin background the form of talk and some words are the same but I can't speak it, one day I hope to. A few things, pal games are too fast being played at NTSC speed instead of having the ability to switch between modes. The audio isn't perfect, like most cloned NES chips. Still, if this was your only point of reference you wouldn't notice the sound. Kinda neat to have the option to play all games on one machine.
