Hi lovely couple, I just love to watch both of you, very happy indeed, after my busy days at work, and watching both of you just taking all my stress, love both of you and bless always
HI GUYS 👋😃 I JUST thought I'd bring this up the Rottweiler pup you have they have a more difficult time with Heat And Humidity!! So you see how he's always panting hard with tongue out and looks like he's having a hard time, even moving. You need to make sure wherever you are wherever you're playing with him. He has water, fresh water, fresh clean water everywhere. These dogs need a lot of water. Just a FYI😢
Good Morning. Finn and Sherlyn. Wow. Thor has got so much bigger already. Love seeing him and Jake. Sherlyn. Doing the digging. 💪🙌 Great future-proofing for the water situation. Your home is lovely. Nice healthy lunch. You trained Thor well. As you did with Jake. You are wonderful. Fur baby, parents. When I planted grape vines. I found they did better when you water daily. To help get it well established. Like you say the ground is hard. I love the doors you have chosen. Thank you for the update. Exciting times. Thank you for sharing. Have a great great.
suit for you that benevolent house is under a precise construction thanks for your solar panel which gives you supplying electricity and more convenient than hoping from the fuel, Super!
pls, cover your tiles where all the workers walk with something like cartbord or so! Coz the sand on the shoes is going to scratch the tiles and after the final clean U see it. Prevent yourself from that. It's a little thing but easy to be prevented.
it was wonderful start year to all of you takecate guys i love you how you build such nice hsus build in the middle mountain. God bless u all Finn& Sherlyn😘🤗🙏👌🙌
Use a rain harvesting storage system. The pool would be a better use for it since water is scarce there. Lack of water can be a very big problem if you don’t have any in a house. Rainwater is collected from a roof like surface and redirected to a tank, cistern, deep pit (well, shaft, or borehole), aquifer, or a reservoir with percolation, so that it seeps down and restores the ground water. Dew and fog can also be collected with nets or other tools.
Since the area is rocky, if you plant something lika a shrub or tree, dig a deep hole and fill it with humus, compost, topsoil, etc so that the roots will seek the fertile, moist soil underneath and the plant will grow fast and not be like bonsai :D
Hi Finn and Sherlyn, thank you for sharing your beautiful home, supper happy the update, Thor is getting bigger, you and Sherlyn is blessed, “GOD “ bless you both
It’s great to see so much progress on the build. Soon you all will enjoy much time together in your dream home. The doggies will love the pool too I’m sure 🐶 Cannot wait to see the self sustainable kitchen garden 🍆🥒🥕🥦🌶️🥬🌽🥔🍠🍅🫛
Your home sweet home is getting its shape slowly. It's good for you and Sherlyn to move into your under construction house to monitor the daily work. You can see how many workers you need and how much materials you will need. Look for other sources of water during the dry season. That's common in the Philippines. Rainy season is another story to tackle. Floods and typhoons are common in the Philippines. Good luck. Enjoy life while you can. God bless you and Sherlyn and your families.❤❤❤
Great progress guys. The trim work on the roof looks excellent. Different layers on the edge and the sift green color is very nice and the brown underneath looks excellent. Good idea on the boxes. Lit up at night with ambient lighting will look amazing. On the pool because it's so hot there you will need lots of deep water to keep it cool. Something I learned along the way. Looking forward to more power consumption numbers. Love your system and great installation job. Like artwork. #pride
The steel wire railing is much better than glass, easier to deal with and is in line with contemporary design, I’m using the same on my build in Baslay😊
Hello Finn and Sherlyn! Great to have your special place on that deck, where you can relax and unwind on that divan at the end of the day, of course with the amazing view in front. The forecast this year is will be having below average typhoons and warmer temperatures because of the El Nino phenomenon, so collecting rainwater is a great idea/wise one. Maybe on your next video the swimming pool is already in the works. Everything looking good! Thanks again for the update guys. Always keep well and God bless you both.
Glad to see you finn eating A healthy Pilipino Foods like Mungo with Fresh Vegetables like Malungay or Talbos ng kamote or Kangkong ...with Ginamos too !!!
I watched your video for first time on a 32-inch screen wow what a difference that makes I feel that I'm there with you! So much work done and being done on the house good thing you had such good contractors everything looks great.
Sherlyn should be using the other end of the pick ax 🤣 I love the open concept ..very modern and great for airflow. I'm sure Sherlyn is loving the kitchen design.
Grapes is normal to grow very very slowly when you transplanted it from the pot to soil. After 2yrs the roots will establish to become a strong vine and it will take off very fast. Takes about 5 to 7 yrs to form its first harvesting fruits. I will leave some in the ground and you will enjoy it later on
Good to see the progress of your house building. For your pool, just some suggestions from my own experience. First, settle the newly added soil well, otherwise you may get cracks in your pool bottom. Consider having strong beam support of the pool bottom. This will help during possible earthquakes. I guess the current walls are only the outer walls and the pool will have additional enforced wall. My pool has a 3 layer walls construction. Outer CHB wall, inner CHB wall and in between a plain concrete wall. All three walls are steel enforced. Of course the pool has tiles finish. My pool is almost 2 decades old with couple of quake shakes but no cracks. Lastly, on your upper deck, there is a wooden door. This door is exposed to rain and shine. Wood won't last long under such condition. My wooden balcony door didn't survive long and I had to replace it with aluminum door. Of course, it's all up to you to consider.
Habagat, or the SoutWest Monsoon is the wet season usually starts here in Visayas and Mindanao on the last week of May. Weeks before that, large dark clouds may form but rain will not fall, only on the last days of May. Rainy season lasts up to August and there are typhoons traversing Luzon or recurve to Japan. The plants, weeds, and trees will grow much during this time. Yes, we have El Nino this time again.
If you're going to be gardening in farming have you considered doing a sprinkler system? It would make it much easier for you also beneficial for the plant
Good morning guys. Have a wonderful busy days in your dream Land/House building. Great for allur hardwork that will come into a prosperous life wd you & Beautiful Sherlyn. Thanks for the updates. Helo to your furBabies. God bless more & protect you all 🙏✌💖😘🐕🐈🐕
It looks good if you Plants a lot of Dwarfs Coconut around the House or one Mango tree one Rambutan tree , Or one Kamias tree for Sinigang used , then instead of Grass plants kamote or Kangkong , Make a small garden Plats to plants differents Herbs , like Basil, thyme, oregano , dill,Tomato, cherry tomato, red Peppers and habanero spicy Peppers , you can used for Cooking ,and also you can dry some hebs too ....if you harvest to much For lots tomato you can make Spaghetti Sauce and freeze it ...save it for Rainy days , if you have Lots of Basil you can make Pesto with olive oil and freeze it too for Pesto Pasta !! Thats what we did here in the USA Washington D.C. .. we have a small Garden at the Backyards ...
Nice update. I enjoyed seeing the dogs play. Our Golden Retrievers have developed a routine when they fetch tennis balls. One will do the running and fetching. He then brings it to his brother. Transfer done, comes to us, repeat. We keep a slight flow of water coming for their drinking. Of course, we likely have more water than yourselves. I have a permanent residence visa, but no renewal. Just an annual "report". Easy peasy. Be prepared to do some frequent algae cleaning with your pool. Not hard to do, but frequent. Are you considering a well for yourselves? Even possible? With a pool, gardens and household, seems like a good investment if possible. Thanks for taking the time to update on the home.
How many times have I opened our freezer and seen ice cream cartons, thinking yummy ice cream, only to open them and find frozen fish, chicken etc. I peel the labels off to avoid disappointment.
You can plant mostly anything in your area. Buy black soil at the garden center and use it as the base when planting. You will see how healthy they come out. Also, give your plants organic fertilizer.
hello Finn, I was wondering why I can't click onto your notification bell and select all? other than that I watch all your video vlogs for the past several years now.
Finn, with the permanent visa (13A), you DON'T renew it. You just have to complete an annual report every year in January or February. 310 pesos. You do have to renew the ACR-I card once every five years, but not the visa. If you have some other kind of visa, it could be different.
Nice crib. How do you handle Cebu pac when travlling with gear especially the lithium light batteries. I am always over 7kg on backpack no matter what? Curious how you handle your electronics when you take air travel. Do you check your SOny?
If theres an area within your property that has the low level of earth/soil it is more practical to dig and make a water pump system. This is an alternative way as a source of potable water to be use.
I enjoyed watching Sherlynn at the end of the video move her chair 3 inches closer to you. I always laugh when the Filipinas need to be right next to their man - even if its just 3 inches closer !! LOL
How is your budget going? Was there a fixed cost of construction and schedule established in the construction agreement? It seems like some things are just figured out and you'll be charged later. In California there are consumer protection laws, construction law and building codes that protect the owner from unscrupulous contractors.
I wanna see the 600k subs. That house needs a big family Finn😂. You need to plant something that would deter animals from outside ,maybe you already thinking of a fences around and surrounding all over.
I don't know if this is a concern but Ming and maybe even Jake could be food for the eagles. I don't know if they'd go for their size but something to think about... Or maybe it's a non-issue. It just crosses my mind when you're holding the cat and the eagles are flyin above.
Coming along quickly, I would like to ask one question, do you have man/ women 😁holes in your ceilings just in case you need to do work or maintenance inside your roof 👍❤🇦🇺🇵🇭
Hi I Love how you Show different places in the Philippines. I am a native of the Philippines but I have never Been to all the Islands And provinces . I think it would take years to see all of the Phillippines. What is your girlfriend’s dialect? Keep up the good work 😊
I just saw your latest video- super nice build. But please do yourself a favor and change the exterior door going to your deck ( and anywhere else you used that type of door) They are junk and will constantly change “size” plus they are worthless for security. You can actually break those panels very easily. I changed mine out for solid wood. Take care.
That's a tugas wood, one of the hardest wood in the country, super heavy and strong. Good luck breaking that one. Not sure where you got the idea it's a junk
