you can go into the shop and buy the above ground swimming pool, then use the tool that lets you move and turn things around (transform tool) to put it under ground, flip it upside down, where you wanted to put the pond...and the water from the pool will show in your hole for your pond.... also, for the basement, you can build the walls underground and then use the tool that made the hole in the ground to open it up where the stairs are so you can actually walk down there. hope this is easy to understand, having a few brain farts trying to explain it tho🤪
I love this! Z/Y for undo?!?! who knew!!! I can tell you I did not know that even after 126 hours in this game... guess I should have read the keybinds better lol. I have watched a ton of sandbox mode videos, and no one has explained the tools the way you did. Seeing you resize the roof (instead of redoing the roof 12 times like I did in my build) blew my mind! Oh my god, I never used the transform tool. I always deleted objects when they were not perfectly sized 😬 And now my roof situation made me crazy, cause I didn't know how to turn the half roof until now 😅 Thanks, helped me a lot 😁👍
Idk where it's at but there is a cutout tool that you can use to make the basement instead of having to sink in the terrain you can also do that so you can place the floors also without having to worry about the grass just cut it out and build hope this helps
when I try to paint like you did in the foundations by changing styles,I get a box full of materials? or a paint tin if I want to change to a paint colour? what am I doing wrong? I think I finally solved this by pressing Q when wanting to change colours and styles.
