Good job Tyson. Always helps having Dad's experience on hand. That will be a nice large area for the dogs to have fun in. And you will have peace of mind knowing you won't have to go looking for them.

Oh boy, this brings back memories from last year. My friend and I did this around my 4.5 acres with 10 to 12 inch logs. My son works for a pole company, and he was able to get me a bunch of treated poles. I think there is 190 poles total, and then we cut them down to 56 inches. We bought a full on entrance gate online and the property looks great. We out a 4 foot field fence on and now teo Goldens can't get into anyone else's property and it also keep coyotes and other prediators away from the pups. It took us about 5 full days of working sun up to sundown. Skid with an auger made the difference for sure. Nice job!

I was worried there for a minute when you started going the wrong direction to dig ! I thought this is going to take him days !! Let's just blame the controls in the skid steer.

I feel your pain when hitting the rocks. I built a 75 ft. retaining wall behind the cabin with no access for big equipment using a one man gas auger. The middle third of the section was full of rocks that I had to use a pickaxe and a shovel to dig them out.

Good job and video so far Brother. It was good to see your dad helping you out and didn’t he help with the last dog yard at the old house.
