Loving the progress, wanted to ask about the plans/drawings you have. Did you make them yourself? I've been searching for some but can't find any, know where I could get my hands on them?
I started with these ones tho they are not exact There are better ones out there to buy I’m sure. mofler.com/uploads/attachments/monthly_2015_09/PLANS-Lamborghini-Countach_pdf.7137715a2c47c552447f1904466001b6
45 years Auto Body your project is coming along nice :) I've used can spray foam on cars before just to get a few more miles out of a old rust bucket... BUT I did spray the professional House/Construction foam for 10 years on the side mainly in the ALBERTA CANADA Oil Patch... its a WAY NICER foam to work with when shaping and sanding a project and after spraying can be sanded in 15 minutes... It sprays HOT and is mixed at the Gun tip as a 1 to 1... You will need a Full Face Shield Mask with Filters when sanding this foam it Sucks getting it in your eyes because its really light and static and feels like Sand in your eyes so wear a Full Face Shield Mask with Filters and blow your self off really good before you remove your face shield... There should be local Spray foam guys that sprays foams houses in your area...
Cheers.yeah the spray foam isn’t great for detailed shaping but it’s good for what I need.most of the final detail is in the filler anyway.the resin will eat some foam so a coat of dryway filler saves that. Lucky I think I’m done with the foam stage now🙂 but a professional spray foam may be good for the next project.
@@TassieKustoms Cool... I'll keep watching your step by step... I seen another guy on RU-vid basically build a wood and plaster car 1st. then fiberglass it... If you find a company that sprays Foam in houses ask them if you can watch them spray and get a block and see how it carves... I also use the green foam blocks the women stick flowers in for fixing Kenworth Hoods when I'm missing chunks that stuff is super easy to sand and carve and you can fiberglass right over it...
