There are flowers that need dead heading on the farm, and it feels like a waste to just put them into the compost. So, instead, I'm creating a literal wall of flowers! And building a large flower installation at the roadside stand. Join me as I harvest and arrange.

Dear Serena and Ian, As you both well realize, some plants bloom beautifully together and are companion plants for life. Whereas, other plants outgrow their spaces and need to be transplanted. You both have worked so hard to make the farm a financially feasible success and support your family. Ian, I wish you tremendous success with the farm. Serena, you are transplanting yourself in a new, environment. You are such a skilled and professional gardener. I cannot say that I would be this joyful. I'm angry from Alberta. She's a strong lady. Good for Serena. Don't let his rotten decisions destroy her. This is her flower farm. He should have been the one to leave it, not her. Although, listening to this video, I'm very, very surprised she's anywhere near him. No way I would after being treated like that. I've been married for 40 years. My hubby wouldn't dare pull this on me.

What a fabulous idea to use the metal shelf as the structure to hold the plants in place and hold the water vessels to keep the flowers hydrated. Brilliant! The flower wall looks fantastic and should attract some buyers and people who want to take pictures in front of it!

Yes, 4 plus the kitties - animals suffer during separations as well. I recall during the fire coverage, there were 4 cats at the house/ farm fleeing with the family. Did any go with you to the new house - I did see a new b/w fellow there.

Thanks for posting. What I didn't expect were the feelings I have around all the changes. I keep tearing up. This must be so hard for everyone. I have been there. We have also had major life changes in recent years as well as some with my family members. What I know is that your channel, Serina, Ian, the kids, the cats, the flowers, the seed unveiling, the market, the funny videos really really meant a lot to me. They helped me get through a reallly tough time the past few years (pre-covid subscriber). I just want to say thank you for giving me something to look forward to for the past few years. I have learned so much from both of you! Even my non-gardening spouse really started to look forward to your episodes and would yell is that "you can't eat the grass on?!",and always asked what you two were up to/posting. Thank you for sharing a part of your lives with us. I know this might be a lot to ask but if Ian isn't going to be part of the channel anymore, could we say goodbye somehow? Lovely display Serena.🌻🌻🌻🌻❤❤ If you make bunches of sunflowers with a sign that they are selling at slightly past their prime , you may be surprised and get some sales. I would buy them if I lived nearby, despite having a slightly sorter shelf life. They are so cheery. Either a slightly discounted price or include more sunflowers than your usual standard Sunflower bunch. They are so stunning. Great job in Growing skills Serena and wonderful Creativity. . I didn’t expect to get so emotional over this video- I have to say thank you for everything I have learned from you. 2 years ago I was in recovery from open heart surgery and in a dark, sad place. I stumbled upon your videos and they inspired me to start growing flowers and this garden has changed my whole world in so many positive ways. It healed me. And in the winters (I’m in Maine) when there were no flowers, I would rewatch some of your videos just so I could see all of the color and beauty. It really got me through.
