Step-by-Step instructions on how to build a Mallard Hen House. This was a recent project completed by the Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club and the Fergus Falls Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Various members participated in building and restoring Mallard Hen Houses to help preserve the Mallard population.

Hey guys very informative video thanks for the step by step. One question, where can I find those cradles? Thanks for the video, I will be making these in the coming weeks!

I'm curious also about if it's possible to buy those cradles? Someone should make some in their garage and sell them on Craigslist. In the meantime you can do them the way I show how on the video titled "Mallard Hen House/ Nesting Cylinder". Also just a thought but you might want to make the gap a little wider so it'll be easier to stuff additional grass into it each winter prior to ice melt. Good work!
