This 100% looks more than Rimworld than Banished. The menu's seems alike and so many other things to. Smart thing to just look at an awesome game and copy many mechancis. I like Rimworld, so I will keep an eye one this one aswel. Thanks for pointing me to this game! :)

Honestly, Banished was kind of disappointing, most notably, It felt the maps were a bit too small for the scope of the game, seeing that any long term playing would quickly take up the map, meaning you'd be capped at growth not far into the game,

The starting condition seems like the rimworld start condition but with a different font and color, even the character skills and traits, this game is just rimworld but 3d and medieval only

@Peters6221 sounds like it's either a skill problem or you putting it to the hardest difficulty, also there's a mod called combat readiness which makes raids more reasonable to instead have less people with better equipment rather then 50 people with clubs

Was gonna go to the comments and mention how increadibly similar this game is to Rimworld, but it seems I'm not exactly the first to notice lol. But in all it's obvious how much inspiration and ideas they've gotten from Rimworld, which I really like, just as long as Rimworld's developers approved of it.

I expect some glitches in the current pretest and having played Rimworld, I just want to go into it feeling freshed and new for a first time rather than soon if that makes sense. Also, I have Rimworld and mods for the time being. I can make a modpack while I wait. XD Regardless looking forward to it

personally, i think it adds enough of its own spin to the formula, especially with the verticality. so its not quite a rip off (atm close but hopefully as time goes by, they add more and more interesting mechanic and content) but regardless, i do hope that this game would take off and have a healthy modding community like rimworld :D

Animals seem to take a while to spawn, but they do also seem to have a natural propagation when left alone and it isn't winter. I had a pair of rabbits turn into about 8 that I hunted in the fall, but the half dozen deer I left chilling on a hilltop disappeared over winter.

Don't know where you're at with the playthrough currently, but I actually like the leveling more than Rimworld, one because you can actually see experience gains, which adds a little satisfaction to seeing your people complete a job, and two because they don't just cap at 20 when some of your people start with 10-15 from a passion. I feel like this makes it a little less like the "oh, crap, my melee guy is at 20 and doesn't really gain anything, switch him to second position" kind of management, instead you want you keep pushing your people to get really good at a few things, like I have a 36 miner because he has a passion and job priority, and he loves it.
