This is SO sweet! Reverse-designing a street car from a WRX competition car is an awesome idea - I have a kit like this and a Subaru WRX/STI that would benefit from this treatment.🙂👍
thanks man! you sure can do it too..just take some time and patience..i too take a long time to get to this point but there is still way better builders out there haha...still so much to learn, just keep doing it =))
Please don’t think this is a criticism or being but do you think it would have been better to have put a black ring around the bumper light covers your work is top class
haha no worries! yeah i missed that part..i just realised i need to do lining for that but i already finished the model so i dont feel like messing with it haha..so i just left it... but it definitely will look better hahaha
I just started doing mine but when I started painting, the paint crackles so not sure what I did wrong bcos I’ve sanded down and prepped the body properly already. But I’m using a normal acrylic spray paint instead of the Tamiya/ Mr Hobby branded one. Could this be the issue?
Hello :) I see you posting in the Aoshima Tamiya and Fujimi group on Facebook, your work is incredible! Can I ask, how did you manage to get the tail lights perfect? As in straight lines between clear, amber and red? I messed mine up on my 6 GSR :(
hey~ thank you so much! hmm im not sure how to describe it..but i did it just with brush, slowly paint the line 1st, my paint is without thinning, so its quite thick and it will not flow over the line easily..hope this help..there is 1 video i did show the process i paint the lights, its in my evo 3 build
I enjoyed your video, the lighting is very good and the edits and pace of the video. Your build came out very nice. I started my channel in January and am working hard as well to gain subscribers. I subbed your channel as I want to see more!
Love how u replicated the real one nice job I like it I'm doing the same whit my one in stash also I'm going to do the evo x in white just can't beat them in white or grey I'm subscribing to ur channel from mine buddy for the support an to learn an get bit motivation from ur builds cool again 🇮🇪👍Keith
Very nice, but you have got to Paint in black the rubber around the two central vents on the Hood. I know that because I have a Mitsu Evo on 1/1 scale… :)
haha you got sharp eyes! i just realised that after i finish everything and its risky and hard to paint it nicely with hand brush..so i just have to ignore it to be safe.
hi, i mix 50% Mr.hobby Character white and 50% mr.hobby white if im not wrong haha..its more towards yellowish just like the actual car..not pure white
I HAVE QUESTIONS, WHERE DO YOU PURCHASE THE CAR MODELS THAT YOU WORK WITH IN YOUR VIDEOS?. BECAUSE WHERE IM LIVING THERES YOUR BASIC CARS COUPLE PICK UP TRUCKS A FEW 18 WHEELER RIGS AND A BUNCH OF ARMY STUFF. IM REALLY INTO THE CARS. SO I WAS HOPING YOU HAVE A PLACE WHERE I CAN ORDER FROM ONLINE OR STORE. PLEASE HELP
Very nice I think it looks amazing, if only took 20 minutes to build one for real. It does look really good with a real one sitting right beside it, not sure if it can get any better than that.
thank you so much! really appreciate it! Actually i learn most of my basic skills from you when i just started doing model kit, i think its 10 years ago if im not wrong..when im still a kid hahaha..your work is my inspiration !
@@JHHobby whoah, that means a lot to me JH. So glad I've been of inspiration to you and I must say you took the hobby seriously because your builds are amazing. Well done once again 👍👍
thanks man! normally i use Tamiya thin cement to run around the edges, dont apply directly on the paint because it will ruins the paint * i always made this mistake =( Lately i found tht white glue is safe to use too, it will not bite the paints.
Awsome build! I wish you would have shown how to paint the rear lights, ride hight and wheel installation. (How to convert HD wheels to meet tamiya brakes) Hope to see next build soon! Cheers!!
hey thank you so much! too bad some of the parts i dint take the video and some part i cut it out due to bad video. -for the rear light i painted with clear orange and red first then spray on silver paint on top (inside) -for the ride height the rear is already perfect, for the front i have to cut the suspension knuckle n glued the brakes onto it (front is fixed dead) hope this info will help..any question just let me know =))
