Ron finishes up the lights, wiring, and air to complete the infrastructure. The Awesome Rolling Toolbox is indeed awesome and just about ready to hit the road. Work is waiting.

Hi Ron, luv your videos, your concepts are outstanding. One thing you may want to consider for your pass through hole is to use 2.5" or 3" plastic pipe, PVC or ABS and sized the thickness of your trailer floor plus a bit to glue it, with a female adapter, typically used as a clean out, so you don't have to worry about any water from the road working it's way back through the hole. Also if you cut off about 1/2" of the Adapter you can use that 1/2" piece to glue to the bottom of the pipe to hold the two pieces in without the need for anything else. That way you simply unscrew the cap to gain access. It might not be a bad idea to use silicone to secure the hole too. If you have room below your trailer you may want to use a 90 degree elbow and if you don't use silicone then it can swivel and offer some strain relief so that the wire or air line does not rub on the flooring material. You do what most can only dream of...

Ron, Again from all us on this thread, I can unanimously say, "buddy you rock". The work you do is top notch, you do what I can only dream of...as said below. I've purchased your workbench plans and can hardly wait to make one. I'll just have to wait until summer of 2015, cause here in cold Montreal my 3 babies (cars) are in hibernation in order to avoid our snowy season. By the way, I'm jealous of that huge garage you have when filming this series. I gather its your man cave? ;-) Later Ron.

You bet Paulo, too bad about your garage being filled. I find myself enjoying shop time during the cold season, that is when I am not out photographing wildlife or in Hawaii.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the front section. I know you mentioned that you were going change your design for those shelves. I built something for my v nose trailer that is very similar to what you came up with in sketchup. I find it handy but it can be a bit of a junk collector too.

Ron, thanks for all your videos. They have inspired me to build my own workshop trailer. Due to land constraints building a shop wasn't an option for me until I found your videos.

Sir you are amazing! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'd love to build the ultimate work bench you are selling but currently I don't have any room for it. Anyway, hopefully I will soon. Wish you the best Ron.

Great looking trailer. Is there any reason that you didn't go with LED lighting? The price for LED strip with transformer can be bought off ebay or amazon for less then florescent now. I think it would be an advantage because it can run off 12v DC or use the transformer for 110v ac or wired for both. Its also smaller, lasts longer and don't have to worry about it breaking. What do you think of this option?

Just a question, the hole you drilled through the floor for the power cord and air hose, don't you need to seal it somehow? My line of thought is that when you are travelling when its raining, won't the wood get wet and start warping and rotting?

This is awesome, How heavy do you think the trailer is loaded? Also what length is it?

Trevor, the trailer is 14.' I have had many ask about weight, but seven trailers over my career, and I have never weighed one.

Do you need to consider the draining of the compressor in some way?

What are the benefits of bustin black iron vs something simpler to connect like PVC or other plumbing materials.
@TheSmartWoodshop

Pete, you could use anything that works. I have always used black iron in my trailer and shop for air and it has worked well and doesn't leak.

Great videos! Ron, do you have any concerns about heat generated by the heavy duty extension cord that is left on the spool? Thanks

Hi Tim, I have not noticed any heat from the extension cord.
