Cool, I get what you mean. I take a lot of pride in my projects, its not always about the end product but more the work it takes to get there.

I wish I had the artistic inspiration to make them, but they were acquired by my folks a few years ago. I built the barn to compliment them.

each side is in 3 pieces, the first piece has 2 planks with a gap between them large enough for the wall to extend up into the gap, this locks the lower part of the roof panels in place, the second and third one lay in place and rest on the lower ones. @ 2.51 you can see me trimming the wall, I measured it to extend through the first set of roof panels. the panels are tied together with small slates that will fit between the wall panels. I used 1X6 fence Pickets

My mother bought these from an artist who built them out of old lumber and sheet metal, they’re really neat. She asked if I could build her a stable, I had a friend who was tearing down their old privacy fence, so that’s what inspired this project.

Unfortunately no, I was sorta winging it. I had basic dimensions I was shooting for, each panel was 5 feet x 5 I think. I Laid out a jig of sorts on the floor to make sure my frames were going to line up. I’m more of a build it in my head first and go for it kinda of guy😁
