"The Pucker Factor". Love it! At least with CNC you can do a trial cut on some much cheaper timber to test your G-code.

Fascinating project. I would imagine this being insanely difficult without a CNC! Oh and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sounds like a great build. Funny you should mention roasted maple: I just started a "puzzle" (snare) drum build using roasted maple. Good chance I will have a build series for it in the next month.

Ambitious design but very creative for a neck through design. IMO most neck through designs have a very 80s look especially with the use of a laminated wood neck. This should be a great series to follow. Hope you are feeling better.

Very cool design! This would be a perfect guitar to try a richlite fretboard. You can get one that looks just like ebony, but harder and easier maintenance. Or you can one with some cool designs that go well with that “hour glass” shape of the neck through. I don’t think I will ever go back to wood fretboards after trying richlite.

Looks like an interesting design. I would suggest magnets to hold the Control Cavity Cover in place. It's a much more elegant look. Looking forward to the build.

A Hipshot Babygrand bridge would look nice on that. I like the swirl wood design. Would that give more gluing surface contact area than a straight cut?
