I'm not even that delicate moving them by hand. Although the last one was to draw attention to a small lake, so like fuck was I stepping in it to drop a cone.
You keep bursting my snow globe I thought it was your natural perfectionism coming out. I believe you could un-frost a cake without disturbing one crumb.
That truck load of sand gave me chills! When I was 18 (1984) I was still laboring for my dad in the masonry business and the last job before I started laying brick was a huge huge warehouse. Every day a truck that size would dump sand and two semis would unload Cherokee block. If you were the ground men you mixed mortar and raised block non stop. Some days we only turned the mixers off at lunch. 60 scoops of sand 3 bags of cement and 15 gallons of water per batch, all day. repeat the next day for two months. No I didn't walk up hill to school every day. I didn't go half the time in high school I was working! lol My nephews pay to go to the gym and couldn't push a wheelbarrow filled with cement without dumping it if that had to...
Took me 3 minutes in the video to noticed Oak Grove Church. I put a lot of vehicles on the shoulder right there on your trailers park. Good job brother enjoy watching your videos.
Letsdig18...your skills with all of your equipment is freaking amazing!!!! I’ve helped in some insane surgeries before, but watching you operate your equipment is even more impressive. Edit: That dump truck came in hot!!!! Driver knew exactly what they were doing!! Very impressive.
Lol Think about it though Would you really think to slow down for a little 200 foot construction zone… Your intentions were in the right place though I’ll give you that
@@dominicfarzetta I would give you odds that many of those drivers didn't even notice or pay attention to the work going on there, let alone slow down for it.
I deliver bricks most of the time off the side of the road and let me tell you it is very rare for anyone to slow down I have a near death experience at least once a week.
More cars have gone past you in this video than have gone by my house in 8 years. I'm literally not joking. Makes me glad to live in rural Montana even if my driveway isn't as nice as this one.
After watching all these years of you using the grading bucket on the mini and now on your 220 I went out and got one of my own and love it. Keep up the great work.
Looks like your off to a pretty good start Chris, Hope you don't get to many spots on that stretch, that start pumping on ya, and have to dig a lot more out .... Can't hardly get away from it with that much rain and water in the ground this time of year . But, hopefully it all goes pretty good and you can't get it all knocked out pretty quick !! lolol.... Have a Great Evening Man !! On too the Next....
Man, you scared me yesterday with no video, I was ready to start combing the ditches of NC. You had a string going there, and it was part of my daily routine. I enjoy the vid's, thanks.
yes , what a wet mess things have been. springs coming out out the ground we've never seen. several new ditch lines in the woods. trees falling over. not cool. if it ever dries out I've got quite a bit of fixing to do on the farm.
Those 4 in 1 buckets are really nice for driveway work and dirt moving . Nice work on the project. You guys do good quality work you probably stay pretty busy. Nice video keep up the good work and stay safe !
That's sure a busy stretch of road. The wide entrance for safer exit and entrance to the drive is a must. I don't need one, but I'd love to have a skid steer just to play and make a mess with.
I randomly came across your videos a few weeks ago and have probably given you about 50 hours of watch time in the past month! Haha. Then I notice that this job is 1/4 mile from my property on 96. Super cool that you're local! Love the dirt work buddy!
New subscriber here, just wanted to say really looking forward to watching some of your videos. I recently went "all in" for starting a excavating business full time now. At the moment things are slow but really excited to see where it takes me, great video and be safe and God bless!
Jobs like that close to busy roads always make me uneasy, people are more worried about what you're doing then driving. Stay safe out there bud you do excellent work 🤘
It is interesting to see the different driveways you get involved in versus the ones I am familiar with in Northern Utah and used to be familiar with in the South Bay Area (between San Jose and Monterey CA). Has to be zoning and permits process in part as well as climate and soils. I have lived from coast to coast as well as Canada to Gulf of Mexico in my 70+ years..
For sure. Some of those cars really appear to be flying. Not sure what the speed limit might be but you think they might ease up a bit with equipment operating so close to the road. But I can sort of relate. I live in a semi-rural residential neighborhood with a 25 mph speed limit. If I had a buck for every car going under 40....I'd be broke.
127 inches of rain, hell that's far more than our rainy average here in Oregon. No wonder the soil there is so easy to scoop out. Doing a project like that in this state would take an environmental study and approval by snowflakes, flagmen, coned off to one lane access, 2 guys with hand held shovels, a foreman, a permit that takes forever to get approved, an inspection before, during, then after. And at least one teammate with CPR/first aid training. High fuel costs and smog regulations plus high taxes, to really put the squeeze on.
When you said ten feet of rain fall "somehow" reminds me of my neighbor? Some fancy politician predicted 25 years ago that most of Florida would be underwater by 2006 or so. My neighbor panicked and literally gave away his home for pennies on the dollar and moved to Arizona. The polar ice was melting and melting fast they said, learn to swim or move to higher ground they said, gonna be ten feet of water over your house Bill. Fast forward to 2020 and the only thing that has changed is that his home he sold is now worth a hundred times more than what he sold it for and is still high and dry, we laugh to this day about that and he stopped listening to those fancy politicians, lol!
You remind me of a guy who taught me a LOT running equipment. I swear he could Knit with a skidsteer! Watching you work... I absolutely love the dexterity with an excavator... you should clamp a paintbrush on your bucket and paint a picture! Keep on keepin on man! 😁
I watch a lot of people on equipment and I must say you are amazing on the excavator and rest of your equipment as well, and that swivel bucket on the yanmar excavator is amazing!!!
What gravel size did you use to cover the road culvert and the transition into the driveway? On top of the material for the driveway, what sizes or rock/gravel were used from bottom to top layer and the depth of each layer if the sizes were larger to smaller? Thanks.
I love the way you and Mr Dirt get along and work together! You guys are awesome working together. If you can just get him trained right, he could be really good! 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂
nice Takeuchi skid steer Takeuch iis getting popular..... lot of contractors here in Texas use the mini Takeuchi trackhoes for installing conduit for roadway lighting
Crazy amount of rain your area has gotten this year. Been wicked dry here in Maine. We could use a foot or so of your over flow. Getting snow today saying 3"-5", white out conditions and a whole 13° currently! Guess we are having a white Christmas 🎄.
Hey Chris you definitely need some help I have to try to find another Tim, lol. But anyway brother another great video you and John and yawls family stay safe and keep the videos coming in again I can’t wait do you get back on the animal shelter project that’s going to make some good videos
