I feel like we all made a zen garden somewhere on our islands with all the zen items and bamboo. I also remember rainbow flower fields being really popular.
Dig up all fossils (7) and rebury them behind a cliff. It won’t spawn anymore because it only goes up to 7 in ground. I do this and it works! P.S. Doby is the best. I just love him.
This was possibly my favourite build you've done so far on Bean! I think the thing with normcore is that the player doesn't get overwhelmed by choice. Sometimes limiting our choices sparks creativity...it definitely has in your case! 🤓
I love Dobie!! He’s best grandpa. He lives by the lake on my grandma core island. ❤️ Edit: Its funny because I had Dobie on my OG island and I made him a little garden and greenhouse area, complete with ironwood low table, terrarium, biope planter and fire pit lol. It's perfect for him, he says he likes plants so it's perfect
I don't use custom codes for pathing or anything. I just don't like the look of them, thanks for giving me ideas for my island. I want to redo everything on my island.
This reminds me of so early on into the game of my very first island! That was until I blew it up and started a new one last year. I'm having fun trying to do an island that reminds me of the game at the start while having newish items, I'm just overall having fun. I love your videos and I hope you do more challenges that you like, I'll watch them either way :)
Weeds dont actually count against your town score, but dropped items and trees do. Just a fun fact that indeed has been proven by extensive datamining, so you dont have to worry.
I should specify, too many or too few trees count against. I believe the bottom limit is 90 on the whole island, and the top limit is 220 or 180 (not quite sure about it)

the garden looks awesome! i'm doing my island right now and i've been using in-game pathing for it. i finished my flower field and i put goldie's house near it since she's gonna run the island flower/garden shop! i'm still building it, but you gave some inspiration for me to use with the store fronts!
