I genuinely don't want this challenge to end. I didn't play ACNH in 2020 so I didn't get to experience playing like this and it's just so nice. I am loving it. These videos have been helping me with my anxiety so much lately, I'll be kinda sad when this is all done, but also can't wait to see it all come together!

I know you said you didn’t want to use any codes for this island but I do think the little in game paw print code would go perfect near nooks cranny just a thought but love the way this island is coming along looks amazing and very nostalgic☺️
I have my island since the game launched and you really inspire me to maybe start over for the first time ever! How long does it take you to go through the story so that you can start building? I wish you could start immediately
Well I am doing exactly what you suggest…I’m making a mostly normcore island. Yes, it’s refreshing. I am doing some terraforming but nothing crazy (I did sunken waterfall and a huge, huge build by my river mouths on my other island. W It’s nice and I’m pleased but it was so stressful and it,e consuming). Anyway, I’m going for …simpler (for lack of a better word, simpler doesn’t mean “not as nice”) builds and am truly having fun with no stress. It’s just fun, relaxing and a great way to distress. I love your enthusiasm and joy for how the island is coming out and I love how beautiful it all is. You’ve given me inspiration and ideas so thank you! My only stress is lack of DIY. (Why oh why did I restart my original island?) Speaking of my original island, yes, it was started in 2021 so not at the very beginning but it was before the 2.0 update so it was definitely normcore. I have so much nostalgia for it and really couldn’t figure out why. My current island has much more complicated builds but I really miss my original. You’ve captured why. At least it is a dream address but going back, I have so many things I could have done! Oh well. I do have a second switch but despite having a mostly done island (missing a lot of DIY. I STILL don’t have a garden bench or rattan basket), my new switch is the one where I’m enjoying the process more since I’m creating more of a normal island. I’m not resetting though, it’s too hard to get those DIY! And yes, the spacing makes me crazy at times.

Unpopular opinion. Treasure Islands are cheating. Literally. Exploiting the game. Especially if you're doing an island like how they used to be done, where treasure Islands weren't available.
Your builds are sooo comforting and cute. Love it. Dont want this normcore build to end. I’ve been to a laundromat 1-2 times when my washing machine broke
