Quite simply one of the best builds I've ever seen in my time in this community. Every little detail was considered down to the replay screens on the hairpin to a press area and all that clean af IMT and NC work on the entrance networks. Didn't think you'd be beating the movie studio build for a while but here we are! Truly amazing, well done :)
Very well said OE! I somehow only just discovered FewCandy this week and I'm already so massively impressed. In the little I've been able to watch of her work so far, she definitely deserves this praise from one of the best!
Auridon Fun Fact of the Day: The Auridon race track was home to all three racing days of the 2005 Special-Electric-Milk-Float-Racing-Series, which was canceled after just one season, after it turned out to be just a big money laundering scheme of the snowmen-mafia.
The best CS episode I have ever seen. An amazing build from someone who clearly adores F1 as much as me. Staggering attention to detail throughout the entire build. Lets get this video shared people! Every CS player needs to see this!
@@Itskrispy. Thank you! Yes the track layout is a replica of Portgual, the hieght map different though and then detailing inspired by a few different places.
So 3 things: First of all, Congrats on doing the track so well, i tried with the same assets and it was so much trouble, especially the gravel and etc part of the track. Second thing, thank you so much for doing Portimão, i’m portuguese so it makes me proud to see our track here especially when it’s often criticized. And third thing, your content is great and i’m having tons of fun watching this series, keep going all you’ll have loads of sucess.
I really love how your 'city' is more than juts a city it's not just a downtown skyscraper grid with endless suburban sprawl round that. I love how theirs throughout the entire map sightlines so often I see just tall in the downtown & no where else on map. Doing a race track & that film studio recently really sets you apart & shows you're a brilliant city player ! Keep up the great content
I'm blown away. This is beyond anything I've seen before. Spectacular. And it's so obviously an intersection of things you love, F1 and CS. Just. no words. amazing. As for naming, I suggest Aurimão Circuit as a shout out to the original Portimão Circuit that you've so beautifully modeled this on.
Best episode of any CS build that I’ve ever watched from anyone. Your attention to detail is amazing. I am also an F1 racing fan and it looks stunningly accurate to what a real track looks like. You’re an amazing city designer. I stopped playing CS myself because it took too much of my time to detail something much less than what you do. I can appreciate the time it takes to do this (and why I just watch RU-vid videos now!). Keep up the amazing work!
@@fewcandy Overcharged Egg may not be so happy though. I have limited time to watch these. Your non-live stream episodes are must watch & then Biffa and Egg fight it out as to the rest of the time available.
Not only is this a great cities skylines build, the track itself from it's layout looks like a proper good one to race on. I don't know if these assets exist, but little breaking zone signs (like 150, 100, 50) and DRS Signs as well as runoff rejoin slalom blocks at the chicane would be a nice touch to refine this allready beautful track.
Holy crap. Your best build yet. It's so obvious that you're a massive F1 fan, watching you detailing it up, you know exactly how it should look and that makes a massive difference. Absolutely amazing,
That's a pretty awesome build. Never thought that I would see racetracks in Cities Skylines, functional and with all those details that make it work almost as real. Great job
I'm in the process of doing a track build in my current city and I keep putting it off because it's such a monster, this definitely helped inspire what I want to do for the rest of it! The biggest thing though that's helped take away from the tediousness is using the network multitool to place the decorative networks like curbs and asphalt, it made it so much more bearable to do
Keep working at it and don't get discouraged! I'm working on a realistic NASCAR track and understand the intimidation and some of the tediousness! It'll all pay off!
Absolutely stunning! You've excelled yourself once again!!! Watching this right after the Austrian GP was an absolute joy. You clearly need to recreate track every week - imagine trying to terraform the gradients of Spa! 😄
This reminds me of how I've always wanted to make a race track on this game but didn't able to because I kinda hesitate whether it'd work with only the vanilla game. both in terms of functionality and environmental landscaping. Always amazing to see how circuits like these are made here, especially seeing yours!
So well done! One improvement (that might have already been mentioned): switch both 'stops' around, so that the straight is actually used and cars dont have to stop twice in the pitlane
As an F1 fan, I really appreciate the effort you put into this build. I have no words to describe the happiness I feel right now. You are truly amazing FewC! 💙
I knew this was going to be an amazing build, I knew it would be incredible. However, I was not prepared for the level of creative GENIUS that was going to appear on my screen. Few C, I don't even have the vocabulary to express how amazing this was. My thesaurus is letting me down. Every superlative is not enough. I can't believe you can just BUILD THIS type of thing! Wow. Just....wow. I don't have any more words. Love love love love love LOVE!!!
Aaaww, totally blown away 🤯 by this one. Can you please let me know where I can get my tickets for watching a race on this track? 😁 Have not watched F1 in years, but this build and the love for the sport that emanates from this video makes me think I should watch one again. Thank you for a perfect ending to a friday evening.❤
Wow, I'm blown away by this build. I love the details you put into this, thinking of all aspects of a F1 race. I stoped watching your vid's for a little while, because live happens... I'm most certainly going to watch all your videos back with time. If I may be a little bit of a nag. After a straight into a (sharp) corner you always see a run of area for drivers to go straight. For when brakes fail and you come to the braking zone at more than 200mph. I saw that after the main straight and at the first hairpin your run off area is very small. That's all the improvement I can think off. 👍👍
Your builds have impressed me from the get go and I was blown away by your cargo port and the detailing you put into it just thought surely she can’t top that but this has to be one of the greatest builds I’ve seen. I also wasn’t ready for that night time transition in the cinematic’s at the end that was just epic! I can’t wait to see what’s coming next :)
John Ringling IV, heir to one of the Ringling Brothers, has made a fortune in entertainment of all sorts during his life. His two passions trough life have been Circus and F1. Some time ago he retired from his company and settled in Auridon to spend his senior years. As a final project he petitioned the city for a piece of land to build a race track, promising to use his influence to get a Grand Prix race in to Auridon once the track was built. He was offered the plot of land and after completions he donated it to the city with one small request that the track be named after his life long passions to Auridon Circus.
Absolutely amazing. I tried creating the Grand Valley Speedway Circuit from the Gran Turismo series and spent a day just for the track layout and elevation. You have taken this to the next level. Detail is outstanding.
You by far did a better job than any other cities builder on making a racetrack. It could uses some blacked out fences for the straight that goes by the hospitality suites green light boxes around the track.
Such a satisfying amount of detail! Another job well done! Hope you enjoyed making that one as much as I enjoyed watching - I know it's been a long time coming!
Girl, you rock so God damn much! What a fantastic job you did here. I love F1 as well and this build is fenomenal! I can hear the passion in your voice when you're talking about it. Congratulations!
Awesome build Few Candy, so I glad I found your channel. Auridon has been a wonderful series. You should call the new track The Auridrome. Thanks for all the amazing content.
Yes! Someone who also loves racetracks! \o/ I've included one racetrack per city for my last 7 cities, and these assets have been fantastic. You can edit the speed of the track to make cars slow down at corners. ;) And it's possible, albeit nightmarishly difficult, to use invisible networks to make cars run multiple laps between stops, just in case you want to give it a shot.
There are so many great builders on YT. But, this is by far the best build I’ve seen. You definitely lead the charge in a detail style if building. Great work.
What an absolutely outstanding build - as a complete Formula One fan myself I have thought about doing something but never attempted. Must have taken such a long time but what a phenomenal result - well done!! Top step of the podium for you!
O. M. G!! As a fellow F1 fan, this was so beyond! I can't get over how amazing this is. From the gradual sloping of the track to the epic detailing... Breathtaking! Fun fact: my dream job is to be an F1 driver!
Porti Mao without the elevation changes looks a lot like Catalunya with hues of Silverstone and the Hungaroring. Absolutely amazing build, the little details makes it all the more realistic!!
WOW! I'm as big a fan of MotoGP as you are of F1, so I know this circuit as well. I was so excited to see you recreate a racing circuit so beautifully and so thoughtfully detailed! My expectations were high just based off the thumbnail and it didn't take you long to blow way past my expectations. Incredible job, can't wait to see more of your videos!!! (I only just discovered you and subscribed quite recently lol). I don't know if I dare try but if I ever do decide to recreate a MotoGP track, I know where I'm looking for inspiration! Thank you :)
OMG I, amazing. Having daydreams of O.E. putting a track in Ilos and modding the nodes to force the cars into the racing line. He's done some crazy node stuff with trams/trolleys... I noticed that one hairpin turn (right at the end of the video) looks like they're taking a racing line out of it (because you got them moving fast through the turn...) So cool.
Great Skylines build, even better F1 build as a viewer from across the pond. Just beautiful, from the marshals to the pit crews, simply ace. Also, Lets go Lando 04!
AMAZING!!!! What would happen if you made 10 bus lines with 2 buses on each line and gave each line a different colour. Try a full lap route for some of the cars with practise starts on the grid. Dont forget speed limited pit lanes. A mini bus route around the track from the car park. You are clearly a true F1 fan thank you so much for this. I am excited by this.
Seems like lights in the theme park river would be really cool detailing element! (And not totally unexpected in a theme park😁) absolutely LOVE this series🔥🔥
This is what I strive to be capable of doing in this game. This is by far the coolest build I've seen in my opinion as I love racing. You did such a good job with this one and all the detailing that goes along with it. Some real creative approaches to the build its quite inspiring. I love it, awesome work and appreciate the tutorial likeness of the video; gonna have to give it a shot.
Probably the most creative game I've ever played , your build is stunning, I'm on console and although I don't have mods I have a 184k city with 80percent traffic, these vids are an inspiration
Didn’t even realise this video was over an hour long until I checked the time on my phone 🤣 awesome build. So much detail I’d just not have even though of adding in 😍
Awesome episode once again! If you are planning to add a small camping area, maybe you could also have some glamping assets in there or even luxurious chalets for the VIPs arriving by helicopter 😉
As a huge race fan. I appreciate you for this one! First race track I’ve seen done with this much attention to detail. I’ll never be satisfied until I see a stadium oval like Daytona or Bristol hahahaha
Love love love this!! Your love of F1 clearly shows, and the asset pack has be so well used in this build. And so good you’re using the fences now available in IMT, many nodes will be saved
Oh this is amazing… absolutely loved this! I just came across your 5B1C build and subscribed to you channel and viewed this as my first video. You have become my favourite CS builder along with Overcharged Egg! Taking big inspirations from Auridon and Palaven for my city build too! I’m just absolutely amazed 🤩
Ahh thank you so much!! And welcome in! So glad you like Auridon and can take inspiration from it, Palaven was my main inspiration for it! It's been a lot of fun to build so far!
You inspired me! I picked up this pack and tried my hand. It takes a lot of time...hehehe. I put 2 lanes side by side and put in a cross over. That way I have 2 lanes of cars. I adjusted the speed for each lane and it looks like they are racing now. Great build, your level of detail is outstanding!!!!!
Thank you so much!! This is my first RU-vid series so the production quality of the first few episodes isn’t what it is now! 😂 but hope you enjoy anyway!
I think you really did some great work here. I know it isn't necessarily realistic with F1 tracks, but it'd be kinda cool to feature part of the track going over the water some on a bridge and then back onto land. Would have been a cool feature. Either way, I think it still looks awesome.
Just a quick tip, if you do the alt. Layouts in the opposite direction of track flow, AI will never take them. as they'll just drive in circles And since recently, don't know how long, It is possible to add fencing (what the curbs, tire walls, etc. count as) nicely to the road pieces in road marking tools.
Soo much talent, creativity and skill deserve soo many more views and subscriptions. Come on RU-vid God's, you know what you need to do. Make this incredible individual famous! 🙌👐🤲🙏
I love this! A suggestion for a build near the F1 track in the future would by like a small rink like the Caffeine and Octane's Lanier Raceway next to Road Atlanta. Sort of like an area for car meets and people to hang out and show off their vehicle or race/drift it on the rink.
Looks amazing FC! I'm not sure but I believe node controller has the option to 'bank curves' may add a nice touch to an already amazing track. You most certainly know your F1.
I'm super into Rally myself, and this totally encouraged me to build a giant Rally track in my current build, I'm thinking the of using Argentina as reference. I've always wished I had the money to afford taking my car to events here in Michigan, but I can't afford the repairs from stress on the vehicle let alone an accident... Dirt Rally 1 and modded Richard Burns Rally will have to make due
I watch a lot of Cities Skylines Vids, some are impressive, most i don't even bother to give a thumbs up. This though is truly mind blowing and a genuine work of art. You should be really proud of this, and I wish my cities had even 10% of the detail of this one asset. Sorry i can't give you more than one like :(
wow, just wow! i just found your channel a few days ago. just started a few weeks on cities. its a big steep curve and after alot of trying it is just so awesome to see these worlds expand in a great way. followed and very curious to your next projects!
I saw you had "unbunching" turned on for the F1 bus line.... would turning that off enable the cars to be closer together on the race track? That would look even more amazing than it already is. Well done, FC!
