I also love the quote ‘just show up’, having anxiety it makes me feel better if I know that at least I showed up whether that’s showing up literally at an event or ‘showing up’ as a mother or a friend. It means you might’ve not done everything you possibly could but at least you tried and showed up when you could. Showing up is better than not doing anything at all❤

Thank you for Vlogust Zoe, I've loved every video and it has been a special part of my day sitting down with something yummy to eat or a cup of tea! 🦋I resonate with SO much of what you mentioned in your chat today, as I'm getting my classroom ready for open house tomorrow and graduate school is starting up again (my last semester!). I've become so overwhelmed by my syllabus while looking at it as a whole. Ottie is loved and cared for with a great family, a roof over her head (a very nice one!) and food in her belly. That there is your main job and you’re smashing it! Bugger the washing piling up and endless piles or things that need sorting! Once you get the time and energy to get through it all it’ll feel sooooooo good 🤌🏼 you’ll be able to nest and get comfy ready for your fav time of year whilst decorating and organising knowing your absolutely smashed vlogust ❤️ although as you said, non of us would ever feel negative about you stopping or missing days. Just wanna thank Zoey and Alfie for their hard work. I’m gonna miss y’all during Christmas so much, it’s literally become a tradition now for me on Christmas to have you all around. That being said, the efforts taken in Vlogust is commendable by both of you. Long time silent watcher here but I wanted to share - After 3 years of trying and wishing for our baby, we finally welcomed our baby girl, Wren, on Dec 2nd last year. Vlogmas kept me company while I fed and was awake in the wee hours of the night. Just like you Zoe, Christmas is my favourite time of year, and having a Christmas baby was seriously magic - feeding by the tree and fairy lights (I kept them on all night so when I got up the cosy glow was already going), and having your videos to watch each night was honestly so special. I can’t wait for you to have your baby girl with you this Christmas and to feel that extra special Christmas magic! Lots of love from Australia, Aja x

Every night I'll get home from work and watch these videos while eating my tea before bed and honestly it gets me through my day at work knowing I can come home, relax and unwind to these videos so I appreciate it so much and love watching you all! First of all, I want to say a great job with keeping up with Vlogust. I assume this process takes time and effort and I appreciate you guys for the lovely content. I am in awe of the way you speak and teach Ottie. I think you and Alfie are wonderful parents and do an amazing job with parenting. Ottie is smart and knows how to communicate well and I think that is so cool only being so small. I think my favorite parts in vlogust are the time you and Ottie spend together and doing new fun things. When i first got diagnosed with PTSD i described it to my therapist like a really tangled necklace. When it gets lots of knots on top of knots. And it was so overwhelming because i couldn't see where to begin to untangle my problems to make the necklace wearable. She said ok. If you had an actual necklace where would you start. and i said with the most recent thing or the smallest knot (issue) and as you undo each little knot the necklace slowly becomes wearable again and the knots become easier to sort. I don't know why but thinking this always helps me. I also use vison boards, brainstorms and lists to. 1 list of where i want to be, 1 of where i am and one more of the first step to get from list 1 to list 2. once thats done i write the next list.. and on and on. I hope things get easier soon. Its so hard to manage. I totally get that. You are amazing though and you keep going and you make it in the end. lots of love xxx

I relate to your feeling overwhelmed so much! I am getting married in October and doing all the final wedding planning is so stressful. I also have my bridal showers and bachelorette party coming up, all very exciting but still very overwhelming! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!
