That is the nicest looking shade garden I have ever seen. The shade garden from my observation seems to be easy to build, and inexpensive. Well it's within my budget. I really like how every one joined in to help, that's what a family/ village does👍 I really like this video....thank you for sharing
inexpensive? pvc isnt cheap when you get into buying all those 3 way and 4 ways fittings it gets super expensive. add in those supports plus the cloth and the glue man ah it gets expensive.. its cheaper to make one out of wood to be honest.. ive dont alot of research and testing when involving this kinda stuff, notice they used colored pvc too.. thats even worse.
Looks great, not sure how well that structure would hold up in a storm... I’ve seen better constructed (in terms of permanent strength) blow down in less than a year with the first strong wind... is this constructed in a spot that has some wind protection?
This looks great for me in the Houston area. I would use U-clamps to secure one whole side to the existing fence posts and use some kind of blocks or weights to secure the rest. And using J hooks or U hooks that go around the pipe into the ground, like a tent stake. I could even secure it to one corner where one side and one end would be tied to the existing fence. Everything I grow here burns when summer starts. Nice thing is it's not a permanent structure and you can make several smaller ones that connect just like they did in the video. Easier to make smaller ones and tie together later. Maybe one section for peppers and one for tomatoes etc. Cheap and easy. Thanks!
