I've wanted to build one good Ski Doo Alpine for a while now...so for a few years I've been slowly collecting spare parts as I find them. This part one of the build.
Coming down with Covid has its advantage , I found this channel which interests me because I did a lot of mechanical work when I was younger , working on my racing bikes and fixing them when I crashed , have a good day you and heather from Australia
Good day Bruce. I am so sorry to hear you have Covid, Heather and I just got over a nasty cold a few weeks back...we tested ourselves for Covid at the time and tested negative, I could have sworn it was though...we slept and watched a lot of videos to pass the time. We wish you a speedy recovery and we are also glad you found this channel. If you are interested we have our other channel where we will be using this machine regularly..it's called. www.youtube.com/@SkinnersOffGrid. Have a great day and take care. Cheers!
Good evening, thank you very much...I almost have it all back together. It will be the Alpine I couldn't afford to buy...it just took me years of collecting enough parts to build it lol. Thanks again. Cheers! The next video of this build will be public in the morning.
Hello Ted, thank you. I just came up from the basement, it's now 10:16 pm. I managed to get the engine installed along with the steering and the dash frame. Not much more to go...then it's test run time :-) Cheers!
Cecil, your videos always entertain and educate me thank you - very interesting to see how robust those Alpine frames are, incredibly more sturdy than conventional sled frame and tunnels. Hope you guys are well, cheers
Good evening Ed, You are very welcome..thank you. I am also pretty impressed how strong these Alpines were built, especially compared to the newer snowmobiles lol. Thanks again. We are doing good, hope you are as well. Cheers!
Hello Andrew, hey if you like them and want to collect them..I think it's great. As you know I find it hard to let ( junk ) go the scrap lol..especially when I know I may need parts off them someday.
