This stairs looks amazing but honestly the process of making it takes a LOT of patience, I cant imagine how much patience you have just to make it look perfect.
on patch 0.184. I got the stairs built. for anyone having collision issue, just cancel-place the lower steps out of the way when you are working at the top. But I can't seem to get them set in the correct spot for the attic.
After the latest update (this week) I am really struggling to get the pavers on the top 4 steps. I think they changed the collision on the copper blocks. I have tried several work-arounds but so far nothing is working. However everything else worked brilliantly! I absolutely love this design!
Yup...they changed it...because it's a bug, not a feature. If you want them to create a new feature that takes that into account...use the feedback to do so. Do NOT ask them to put the bug back. It's a BUG and will probably break shit later on in some completely unforeseeable way. Ask them to come up with an alternative...like a civilized ape.
messed up on the second step and ended up with a floating pillar still tied to the pillar on the ground? definitely user error but that could technically kinda make a floating chandelier?
This is amazing!! Really impressed the level of detail you go into. I’ve managed to get up to placing 2 steps worth of paver planks, but am having trouble with collisions getting the pavers any higher on the staircase. Any tips?
Had to stop 4 steps short of the top with the pavers. The collision (seemed like maybe it was with the paver duos) was too much and I lost patience. But I’m okay with it as is. Maybe will try to do something with it in future to put steps on the top 4 steps.
😭😭😭 They patched the copper items so they don't ignore collision anymore. I would love if there is a different version of the spiral staircase you could show that could work now.
The first time I made this staircase was the patch before they added the copper/iron building blocks, so this is all still possible. What specifically are you unable to do?
@@coadredalert It seems like the copper building blocks has already been patched up, I'm at the 11th step but the pole is not ignoring the collision anymore.
@@x0xbrigettex0x i just tested out putting the gourmet butcher blocks on iron small crates with more butcher blocks for the correct height of the steps. it worked! so instead of industrial shelf and iron pillars, just use more butcher blocks on iron cubes. goodl luck!
I got the skeleton ready, but when placing the planks, some of them stay floating on the air :( my head is hurting from trying to figure out the cancel placement thing 😵💫
