Building a Sweet Caroline Dory

Great video, thank you. My dad and I built a Carolina Dory back in 1984-'85. She was a very seaworthy boat for Hawaiian waters. I sold her in 1995 when I moved to Maui. Wish I had kept her in hindsight.

Thanks for this wonderful collage. Reminds me of the great fun I had building my Sweet Caroline with my friends and kids in 1986. I still have her, and , she is beautiful!

I have been wanting to build one of these for a very long time. I have some experience modifying boats and restoration but have never taken the time to actually build my own. the day is approaching.

That's a beautiful craft. What is the purpose for the inset motor well? Does is steer better that way?

What kind of plywood did you use
