That's a great time improvement..good explanation on how gases flow out then back in to help motor to perform better. cool mods on saw and nice tuned pipe. I may have to do this to my sons wild thing.

Ah, just what I needed. I feel like contributing back to this here channel for the effort this guy puts in for all of us. Pleasure seeing the channel grow. Normally I don’t get along with people that know more about mechanics than me… but I tolerate Boedy

A nice little saw only draw back is no anti vibration. I Field tested some during my time at Husqvarna ( Poulan). From 04 to 16 I tested all kind of saws and other gas products.

That’s resonating sound waves… that front wall shouldn’t be flat but a little curve to focus the sound waves back into the center area of the exhaust port window… 😂👍

Very nice. It's great seeing a side by side comparison rather than someone basing it's cutting speed by how loud it is.

I like the pipe build 👍 you didn't mention the bolts going through the pipe also give some back pressure... Honda had problems with a/f charge firing in the exhaust when they straight piped there race bikes 🚲 they put a bolt 🔩 in the exhaust with some adjustment to it 👌 started winning races 🏁

I've thinking along the same lines for a while now. Ya beat me to it lol, by more than a year at that. That was pretty convincing. I'm going to do a 372 using the stock muffler and cutting the flange out of the back of it. Good video mate!

It’s really funny that no matter how awesome a saw is or how great it’s tune… it’s really all about how sharp you can make a chain… I’ve got to get a symington grinder so I can make good square ground chains up!!!!

@thomaslindroos1667
@thomaslindroos1667 2 года назад
Its nice and all but if I understood correctly you want to shift the power to a higher rpm range but you made the reflection wall distance longer. The longer the distance the lower the frequency, so the lower rpm for the "effective range" on the pipe. I believe the theory still needs a little work but hey its effective and its almost as handsome as yourself. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy how we can follow along success and failure on your channel and hopefully help each other out. Have an excellent day Boedy!
@thomaslindroos1667
@thomaslindroos1667 2 года назад
And now in the end you said you shortened it and didnt make it longer so ignore my constructive critisism 😊
@novicelumberjack
@novicelumberjack 2 года назад
This is great. Complete audience engagement till the end! Yeah, it is a full 1/8 inch shorter, which is a LOT in this world. Ultimately, I'll put a tach on it and see what rpm it is pulling, but considering my start point, I'm pretty happy.

@deanbaker6456 I'm chill, just thought you were wanting no ads at all. RU-vid has gotten worse and worse ever since they were purchased by Google. They pay us creators less while they triple dip in ad revenue. Corporate greed is rampant. The way a company measures success is through monetary growth. I could go off on a real tangent, but it won't do any good. We are all doomed. As soon as there is a better platform than RU-vid, I will immediately switch. But until then... stuck.
