Only thing I'm not sold on is the rear bumper and that insane diffusor. I personnally would've liked a bumper lower to the ground, more in line with the rest of the body kit and a wider, less pronounced diffusor, but other than that it looks absolutely awesome! Can't wait to see tghe finished result!
@@BigDaddySoup69 I completely agree, I was hoping it would grow on me but it just sticks out too much! It really just throws the whole build off! I wish they would have gotten a different one to match the front. But thats how that kit comes as a whole and they prob dont want to miss match parts especially since it represents the Spoon company.
It’s definitely rough on the eyes lol but the insides and the work that has been done to it is PURE GOLD. Definitely the winner is lucky to have this build.
Seems a lot of people don’t like the rear bumper. I haven’t seen it painted yet, but I’m not fully sold on it either EDIT: yeahhhhhhh not a fan of the bumper painted. If it wasn’t silver it would be better, but I also despise silver. Or once it’s lower it might be better
Its the diffuser for me, i kinda like the bumper, if it had a diffuser that complimented it and not just a put on diffuser that looks like its floating in the middle of it.
@@Akosa117 it just doesn’t work in silver. It sticks out from the rest of the build too much. Like I get it’s the aero bumper and it’s got an aero element technically but it just. Doesn’t. Work.
I can appreciate your thought process and trying to do something different.... Buuuut that kit is HIT!... It reminds me of an 70 year getting plastic surgery trying to look 24 again.... It's just off and not it! I am still enjoying the videos, the effort, and trying to step out of the box! So please don't take this as shit talking, just wanted to give you my honest opinion.
I would wait for the end result bro I’ve seen the same comment on some other builds and have been proven wrong if throtl has shown us anything it’s that they’re meticulous and motivated to put something amazing on the road.
Love the channel, long time fan, live your builds...that being said, blink twice if someone is holding your family hostage making you use that hideous rear bumper.
That car is gonna look pretty rad when it's finished. I really like the Spoon form for effect style, always have. The rear bumper is very much designed as a performance piece rather than looks with the high cut for diffuser placement and the twin reliefs for reduced wheel drag. -I'm willing to bet that this specific build will feel rock solid at speed with the reduced air pressure in each wheel well, promotes less drag and more downforce and consistancy. Rock on Throtl!!! 🤘

ill say this, im not a fan of the back bumper by itself, in fact this is the very first time ive ever seen you guys make a questionable design choice that i was like uhhhhhhh but ive watched this channel long enough to know that you guys know what you're doing, and you have great taste and that when the whole thing is done this car will be dope af and somehow that bumper will be one of the defining elements of the build that bring it all together.. so i say have at it and go hard like yall always do and i cant wait to see the end result. thank you for all that you do.
I'm more of an Oem parts kinda of guy so not sure about the front and back bumper. 😅 Whos know they might have a rear defuser that could potentially change the rear and the complete look of the car🎉
Totally get that everyone thinks the rear bumper is ugly. I never really understood Spoon to be focused on aesthetics. Just making Hondas go fast. I’m sure there is intent behind it beyond the looks.
You guys should find a new wheel sponsor. I haven't seen 1 wheel from motegi that looks good. Also the gt3 fenders look terrible along with the body kit.... just waiting for you guys to throw some more neon junk on it next. 😂
