Oh my gosh! MARIE!!!! I'm going through your marketing playlist and I'm so sorry that Johnny passed (I know it was over three years ago, but I had to give my condolences). I'm not a cat person... but from this video it was obvious how much he was loved AND I've never seen a cat so well trained. Anyway- thanks for all your great content... and sorry for your loss.
I enjoy your videos and I feel re-energized about stepping out into PP. After years of actively helping others get established, I am prepping to launch by 2022!!! Thank you for the overflow of passion into other clinicians.
Thanks for the video. I work for a private practice physical therapy clinic and I have been researching and was trialing MailChimp but I am wondering about HIPAA compliance. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Not sure if this means anything but I don’t think it’s necessarily a HIPAA violation to collect emails in that instance because you aren’t starting a therapeutic relationship with them. You’re not going to be discussing personal medical history or breaking confidentiality. If a client works with you in the therapeutic relationship than you’d have to protect confidentiality and then having them on a subscriber list might be an issue. Giving out therapeutic advice or tips to someone who opted in voluntarily wouldn’t break any ethical code. It’s only a one-way form of communication- subscribers don’t share anything with you directly
