I am a graduate of 2020. I will miss the B building deeply. To have gone here and as the last year to graduate from it, it is sad to see it go. Hopefully the memories of this place wont be forgotten.
Class of 1996…thank you for taking the time to document this historic building. Like others who have posted here, a lot of great memories made in this building.
1977 graduate. Thanks for this video. I have never seen parts of that building or knew it had a firing range or so much production equipment etc!! I knew there was a television studio but never saw it. I do find it wasteful and sad that the money spend on the new high school and demo costs that that solid as a rock building could not have been renovated. Glad it is not my tax dollars. Thank you Joe for allowing me to see this. I have subscribed to see more
Thank you so much for this wonderful walk down memory lane. My class was the first to attend the new building in 1974. It is sad to see it go, your video will be appreciated for years to come.
Thank you so much! I wanted to do this for this reason exactly. For people like you that get something out of it and appreciate it. I appreciate you watching and letting me know that youre out there because ultimately, these comments make this all worth it. Thanks again!
@@JOEYUNDERGROUND I intend to check out your other videos, I noticed in another comment that you have a video of gallitzin. I definitely want to see that and my mother was from gallitzin and I have fond memories of sugar run road, the horseshoe curve and Forest zoo . Thanks for bringing life to my memories.
Your video are great. I look forward to seeing them. You do good work.Very nice school. I like the way you go slow with the camera so we can see it good. Stay safe
@@JOEYUNDERGROUND what about those instruments? All of those cellos and drums! I know they had auctioned off a lot of stuff, i assume the instruments went in that.
That fact that I will end up graduating by Altoona is upsetting bc it’s awful, it kind of just sucks, the people suck, and it’s a sad place to be at 😂😂
Sadly, I agree with you but it's important to at least graduate so that you can make it out of here if need be. It definitely has its ups and downs here but seemingly down more often than up lol. Thanks for watching and good luck man!
Don't let it get you down. I graduated from Altoona high in 1977, I eventually left the area and now find that I miss it greatly. But teenage years can be tough that is for certain and undoubtedly living in a small town you are subjected to small-minded people, but do not let that get you down, life is what you make of it and I must say, I couldn't be happier now. It gets much better after you graduate. Just make the most of your studies because that truely is your ticket out as the saying goes. Just try to enjoy what is currently available to you, this is good advice wherever you are in life and really the only key to happiness. Well wishes to you.
