👍loved jigsaw puzzles and loved modelling, when I was younger! seeing this makes me want to start back up,and at 49 I think it’s the perfect age to start again ! Thanks👍🛸✌️
Still into Lego, it's very therapeutic. I have bought and built the official Lego Delorean & Ecto 1 (around £150 & both over a foot in length) so BlueBrixx have caught my eye especially with the RoboCop stuff they're doing at the moment (ED-209 I'm looking at you) so yes the official Stargate stuff is definitely looking interesting, more than anything the 1:1 scale ZPM.
Try the Bluebrixx Pro Sets, they have Classic build steps and a printed Manual. Some of that also got printed bricks. And the Bluebrixx Sets are mostly Not Play Sets for Kids. They are Displaysets.
Well, you know I designed a Stargate in LEGO (and even if I do say so myself, Bluebrixx’s version isn’t as accurate as mine). But I too am looking forward to seeing what they produce (not their minifigs though - those are FREAKY!!)
I think you should talk Bluebrix into being an official sponsor and get members a discount and scitrek free samples for display during videos. Just saying.
I loved (and still love) Lego. Jay, I wanted to ask how many hours youve put into building the "not-a-Daedalus," and what percent of the building time was devoted to taking pictures of the "not-a-Daedalus?"
bluebrixx usually does waves. They ask for what the community wants then produces ~1 year later. Right now the community (mostly german) wants a Puddlejumper if im not mistaken. Simply post what you want to see under their videos :)
I have a lot of "Star Trek" sets from BlueBrixx and if you liked the (not) Deadalus you will absolutely love the officially licenced models. Some of them will even have minifigures. I think my first one will be the F-302.
The next project should be Battlestar then you can debate if it is from the orginal serries or the remake. large Mothership incl. 4 micro-ships: 3x Viper, 1x Centurion Raider Label: BlueBrixx-Special Manufacturer No: 103218 Dimensions (length x width x height): 739 x 301 x 163 mm Designed by Alex 119,95 EUR
For me the instructions are an important part and I don’t like having to go online to get them. A booklet can be there forever if taken care of Online tends to erase thing never to be found again
I was thinking in honor of John Pertwee they should offer just the console alone. I loved all the episodes when he was stranded and took the console somewhere like Inferno
