In the second edition of Building Icons we speak with Architect Greg Crone who designed the Citigroup Tower.
2 Park Street was the first major project in the Sydney Midtown in modern times -its scale, new ideas and ambition led to a $27 billion rejuvenation of an area that is now one of the most desirable commercial precincts in Australia.
The vertical city that houses more than 5,000 people with deep, 2,000sqm floorplates, was the first office towers to feature the combination of cafe, lobby lounge and a concierge. Most levels in this iconic structure feature sweeping views of Sydney that can be enjoyed via tenant entertainment areas housed on generous balconies.
2 Park Street is easily accessed via Town Hall Station and has enjoyed one of the highest occupancy rates in the Sydney CBD since construction.
