If he is using waterproof coating on the foundation base of the fence wall. Then he will put blocks on top of that, will the blocks attach properly and strongly on a poly-acrylic base. Should he not use the waterproof or moisture proof cement base, Then paint the lower first few block courses on both side of the wall with the black water proofing? Will the wall be able to stand strong his way? I would think that block or cement cannot attach on any poly-base coating and be strong. mortar and block will not attach properly. something seems off.
I think the most walls are getting mold because they have to much clay in the Blocks. These walls should be made from quarry dust blocks or very carefully mixed block materials would you say. Or foundation footers should be water- proof cement.

This doesn't look right, Bitumen is meant for surface treatment. Damp proofing requires an actual vapour barrier....a much thicker plastic that doesn't easily decay.
Bostik is a unique product. Two coats solidify into an impermeable layer. As mentioned in the video, we also laid the plastic membrane between the beam and blocks.
yea something looks a bit strange to me. would you lay blocks on top of a poly-acrylic base and expect the block and mortar to attach properly. something is not quite right about this.
A nice idea but to put a concrete ring beam on blocks does not make sense. The construction is only as strong as the weakest part, which are the blocks. And it is funny to apply the black color to the concrete, it is the blocks who work mostly.like sponges and suck/transport the water so better they should be rotected!! I let use waterproof concrete and let it cum up a bit over soil level. This line foundation will be completely protected with such water protection, sometimes applied with a polyurethane folio. Between the concrete and the now following blocks will be a water proof membrane so that no moisture can attack the blocks. A bit more expensive but 100% safe.
