Hi, good job. Please a question. At what point can one skip lintel and continue with 1sr floor decking or is it a necessity with every type of project?

It’s depends on design and consideration for window and door heights.

My house is very small but, the foreman is telling me he needs 2 tons of 14mm. Thanks

It depends on the structural design. What are you using the 14mm for?

@@princenikki The decking is done, building the block works , he telling me they need 2 tons of iron rods for Iron rods construction after the column are done.Phase 3. Iron rods construction.. ##. Binding wire 3. Quarter rod 100 piece 14mm 2tones. This is for two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Thank you for your response 🙏

Inflation and materials have gone steep however compared to cost of building elsewhere building your own home, exactly your design and the size possible makes it worth it. Stay focused on the end goal
