Hi, I see your videos on building constructions in Ghana and I am really impressed. I am a Liberian living in Dallas, TX and I am very much interested in building houses in West Africa. I am especially interested in the various creative construction methods our brothers back home have come up with. I need more information on roofing at this point.

There is where problems can begin from he should pre markout the tiles from the centre of the room then a just to make sure that there is no small cutts at the ending of the tile like what he is doing now in this vedio

I am not a fun of this job. Ghanaian tiles used lots of morter, compared to others. The sub floor must be prepared proparly and they should used tile trowel. Too mach waste. They will imporved a lot if they start watching lot of videos on how to lay tiles

What a messy job, one thing that is lacking in Ghana! Tiling starts from the center of the room and spacers are a must! What I saw was comparable to what my 7 year old would do!! 🙄

And also to add a good few point u made... you suppose to use tile adhesive and grout after that! No need for cement! The quantity of spread use in this video to tile is way too much!!! That’s not how you tile!

First question Are you an installer . Instead of complementing him for a job done with little tools. You're bashing him. I never knew tiling was a clean job. Or cement work ever clean From the looks of the finishing video, he did a good job. Let me see your job.

@@afrog3569 lol...I bet you are the sort that settles for mediocrity and no standard when it comes the skillful labour!It has taken me almost 6 months to get the tiler I want and trust me,it hasn't been easy,as anyone with a trowel handy thinks they can tile!I'm not spending 50k ghC for anything below perfection!

Before you go any further, know that you're talking to a licensed engineer and general contractor. With over 30 years in construction. Now let's get back to the tile setter, what I saw as a construction company owner, is a man in Africa with limited tools, a totally different method but still have a decent outcome, at least on video. Why dont you take him the proper tools and teach him the right way, I know you can do it
