Longtime bro! Nice to see these progresses. The house is looking exquisite. You are almost there. Beautiful neighborhood and a good space for outdoor living. I hope all is well with the family. Those Royal palms are going to grow so fast in the next 2-3 years. The view is spectacular. 👍🏿👏🏽 Well done sir!
@@4EverHome Big boss hope you are doing great, been enjoying the videos on your new project, just want your quick opinion on Pop v plasterboard ceiling are they priced the same or one is more expensive than bro.
@@naniboat8563 P.O.P can be technically made into a plasterboard and design them. The cost depends on the installer and also where you buy your plasterboard. Some p.o.p installers charge by room size i.e. square footages, others may charge by design. It may seem that the plasterboard without it's designs will be cheaper but please verify with your installer. Thanks
Thank you so much for subscribing .God willing, I will be back in a couple of months with more videos. Flashback from the very beginning will soon be released to help others.
Good job, it's not easy to build a house in ghana as prices of building materials are not stable. My husband and I are at the finishing touches to our house at tema comm.12. Born & bread in tema" so ebe tema nooo we won dey"
What a wonderful piece of architecture you have put up there. Indeed the lord is good. I have been watching your videos for sometime now and glad to see you come this far. very soon I will follow your footsteps.
Hi Rasta I love your house I went looking for it when I was in ghana in December I have mine on the same stretch so we neighbors hoping to see you some day when I finally finish mine from your neighbor at lagoon view And my name is Abena
@@rastanigiowusuagyeman4908 Boss l like the crew who are building your house, they do a nice clean job, so l was wondering whether you use a contractor or you pick the crew together yourself.
@@bilybos3715 I will say both depending on the type of work. The key is that I go to Ghana every year to buy materials and SUPERVISE work until money runs out. Artisans will make mistakes no matter what. They have different taste so being on site, gives you a better chance of not being DISAPPOINTED.
Hey bro, a friend of mine from the UK sent me the video of this episode asking if you are my friend who came to Ghana in December to attend to his build. I had no idea you had updated the episodes. In any event, the house is coming along nicely and it appears you attained all the objectives set on your December trip. It was nice meeting up with you at my build and thank you again for the drone shots. Looking forward to seeing you soon. To God be the glory indeed.🙏. Will catch up on the other side. Cheers.
Bro, I uploaded it 3 days ago and assumed that you will receive automatic notification. My bad. Many thanks for the advice and tour of your beautiful house. It really made a huge difference.
@@rastanigiowusuagyeman4908 I trust it is plasterboard! Same here. I really don't know if they have it in Nigeria. Set to find out. I bet it is cheaper than POP - did you consider that option?
This area of lands should have been used for commercial farming especially with the water body and not building residential housing. Ghana will not move forward with reckless planning
Great job done so far. Very inspiring Bt if I may ask with the concrete for the compound, were iron rods used throughout or just some part and what difference will it make if u don't use it Thanks
Sorry.... The project started in 2014 and I stopped counting somewhere along the line because I am always on site. The concrete floor consumed around 250 cement bags, 3 chipping and 3.5 of sand.
4 inches for the most part. Bear in mind that it had to be sloped to allow water to flow away from the building. As a result, some areas were 4.8 inches.
I sincerely hope the Companies are using best of building materials for building which will benefit the communities for years to come The building must be addressed properly Accountability Responsibility Management Maintenance Accessible with lifts if needed with the understanding of the individuals at heart ❤💙💜💖💗 Africa is moving forward Google Dr Arikana highlighted these concerns please get involved in what is happening in the Continent Laziness must not be embrace in the Continent get involved in projects development employment jobs investment Simply get rid of all individuals selfish greedy gains individuals operating in the communities Government. @@rastanigiowusuagyeman4908 bro please just say you're not comfortable sharing what you've spent, and that's fine. He didn't ask what it'll cost him, he asked what it cost you. Surely it did cost you a certain amount. We know size, location, taste and everything else matters (we know, trust me we know) but atleast it gives people idea of what they'll have to put together and what the market is like. Don't forget mostly people that view these projects are Ghanaians abroad who intend to build in Ghana so these kind of informations helps, it helps a whole lot. When I bought my land in 2012 I was dead set that $15,000 will build the house I wanted but today from nigerian blogs and youtube I've learned I may have to add another 0 to that amount for my house. I know Africans (I'll say Ghanaians because the Nigerians do share their cost breakdowns) don't like sharing costs for whatever reasons and i respect that but atleast estimates and not the exact amount could help someone. Thanks.
@@msabbey5695 I do not have a problem with sharing else my videos will not be online. The question was not specific. With that said, I started building in 2014 and kept track up to $120,000. Visiting Ghana every year and being present at the site, the records keeping became not that important to me. Oh by the way, the price of cement was 17 ghc and today it is 38 ghc. i hope this helps.
@@rastanigiowusuagyeman4908 believe me you're helping us a whole lot. For someone who has first hand experience I know you're aware of how Ghanaians abroad gets ripped off living abroad and having people build for them, so this is good for all of us. Thank you so much. I myself is taking your route and building as I go. NEVER having anyone do anything for me again because I sure as hell spent a lot less from the German floor(ground floor....i don't know why Ghanaians call the second floor instead German floor lol) to lintel level than they made me spend just on foundation alone while I was here. So I'm learning a lot and grateful for projects like yours. Thanks again.
If there were no roads, how were the materials conveyed to the site? Ghanaians like talking too much. Looking at this video, one can tell that it's a new site and untyred roads are created. With time these roads will be tyred
