This is an amazing video Pesso. We definitely need to shed light on this issues. I encouraged anyone with a platform to share these contents. It might not be you today but it can be you or someone you know tomorrow. See something say something. I'm going on Tru Breakfast shown to talk about this and I'm trying to engage Africa BBC. Environmental issue is a hunan right issue.
You’re right, no one is exempt. This affects everyone directly or indirectly. I’ve made some calls to some government offices and will continue to talk about this to who ever will listen.
These are some of the things that no Africans can do to anyone as they are trying to think that they can continue with their evil against Africa, but God is watching it will never continue we should overcome, all Liberian have to now stand their grand against wickedness, because no African can do this in their country trusted me, we all need peace and truth justice. Peace am black and white one loved ❤❤❤
You all need to get a team of lawyers and do a press conference! Take our news stations there and let’s get everyone talking about this! I’m pissed for your!
We’ve been making calls and talking to everyone who will listen. There’s only so much you can do from over here. But you are right, getting a lawyer involved might just be the way to go.
This just boils my blood! Who gave them the authority to just damage people's land and the environment? The government needs to step in, and there should be a class action lawsuit against that company. Those Chinese treat Africans horribly. This could NEVER happen in China!
My husband also a victim his friend did it to him. He took yellow machine on my husband land and took the yellow dirt out my dear. It’s painful now we have to put yellow dirt back on the land
If I'm having all my kids abroad, I'm not building a house in Liberia. I'll buy a house abroad that I'll subsequently turn over to my kids to start their life with. That doesn't mean I don't like my Country. It's just common sense.
The home in Liberia is for us not our kids. Our kids are all adults and will go visit a few times here and there but we’re the ones that will be using it. We also have a home in the state… It’s okay to have both if you’re able to.
Very sad!! Thanks for sharing. Though awareness is important, do you have recommendation as to the relevant agency/governmental body to engage? EPA? Lands and mines? . This will be very helpful. I do know illegal sand mining is handled by EPA. 8:14
Thanks Abraham. You are absolutely right. I’ve inquired several places where to report this. When I get an accurate process how and where to report this, I will share it here.
I have land in Marshall, and I have purchased soil to back filled and to make a road. I was under the impression that the soil was coming from the areas where the highway is being built. The Chinese are not at fault, they can only do what they are allowed. Liberian needs to do a lot of housekeeping before they point a finger . My grandmother says when you point one finger you have three pointing back at you. The Chinese are there to help built the roads. The suppliers they are using have to come through the government...Let start by asking the hard questions. Who is in charge? And once we find that answers, hold them accountable. I have invested thousands of dollars to lay a road to my property,,with no help from govement. They should make people who is selling land, to use part of the money made to develop the roads and alleys before selling lots.
You’re 💯right that the Chinese can only do what they are allowed.. our people are doing a lot of dishonest things that will only harm in the long run but all they see now are dollar signs. Everyone’s looking the other way or directly involved in destroying the very place they live. SAD
I bet people building homes in this area never thought they would be dealing with cracked foundation and fences due to mining next door to their homes.
@@peesomathiesmy olma land was dug by another person. Why are liberians so cruel .. the person that dug our land in marshal town was a pastor and he used the dirt to fill his church.. i think the mayor or some official in land and mines needs to come in and stop this .. the rule of law must work ... This is not a time of people playing victim after committing and say they witch hunting them ..
Who ever is doing this needs to be sued and prosecuted. The government needs to be told about this because this is not right we can never go to china and be allowed to do this.
Sorry, but has this been brought to the right government authority attention or you people are still talking about it? Quick steps to to be taken immediately to get the government’s attention because they people aren’t wasting time!
@@organizedbet.6113 I will have to disagree with you on that. I’m a proud Liberian. Just the fact that I was blessed to be born in such a naturally beautiful country that is filled with rich culture, I count that as a big benefit.
In my opinion, I think It must be the land administrator or their family member or one of your relatives or someone who knows you and the owners of the properties mined. Do your own investigation. I live in outside Monrovia. I have seen lots of illegal mining of hilly lands.
