Building In Minecraft With No Plan

Dude I was about t comment on your last building with no plan: “I’m so mad I just discovered this video 10 days after and I can’t binge more” Thank you man, keep up the series, reminds me almost of being a kid with the creativity and story line. Almost like those Lego story lines we made.

I think, instead of iron golems serving as prison guards (except big boss, of course), you can have them be pillagers with their weapons removed. It’s great because: 1. They are actually menacing and look the part of a guard. 2. Can fit through the doors the prison is designed around. 3. Cause the villagers to run in a frenzy all the time, which is not only hilarious to watch at times, but adds to the kinetic energy of the build. This is possible in survival mode, where if you allow the pillagers to shoot you (ideally into a block), eventually the bow breaks and they become completely passive. It’s a lot of effort but worth it. Alternatively they can be spawned in with commands with no weapon. One downside is that if enough villagers are nearby, and iron golem may spawn and kill the pillager. I believe this only happens if the conditions of a village is met, meaning there’s enough beds in a small area. I’m sure there’s a command/plug-in to stop iron golem spawning too.

I'm so inlove with your content this series is absolutely amazing How I see the lore: Clarence and Terrance were both lovers, two who could never be. The chief villager (Clarence's father) had seperated them since the unnamed camp next to their bridge had raided them countless times, thus causing a war. Though once the chief found that Clarence was pregnant, he had wanted Terrance executed, but the other camp just agreed to jail him. Once the children were born, the chief had banished them including Clarence into the village that was seen next to the unnamed camp, the village having taken them in with open arms as they lived happily. One day when Clarence had wanted to wash their clothes at the river outside, she saw her past lover (who she still loved dearly) looking at another woman with immense love that she had never seen him give her. To add to her confusion, she found that Terrance was actually crowned the new chief of the camp, making her realize that he had revolutionized the unnamed camp and got out of his imprisonment. Upon seeing their mother's heartbreak, the children of Clarence (who were also named after their mother due to the chief's curse) swore to get revenge on their father. Years later, the Clarence children grew up as their mother grew old. Her dying wish was to return to the bridge one day, but the Clarence children took it wrongly as they thought she wanted to overtake the Clarence bridge. Time skip through a whole war, they manage to overtake the chief and the rest of the villagers, only letting Bart the Exile to enter as he was once a part of the unnamed camp and had been exiled to the village they grew up in where he helped them overtake the chief, so they assign him to a job. Now, the Clarence clan had passed down the family name to some of their children, whilst the Terrance clan/camp had decided to raid the bridge once again to revive the original Terrance's legacy. The war resulted in both the bridge and camp going down, almost everyone getting murdered in result as they get jailed and some get assigned with jobs as they were the only ones who had served their sentences. This story will develop with each new video lol

Just a building technique I've learnt that you could have use at 6:46 you could have used dead coral to take on the look of barbed wire. (You probably already knew this i thought you might like the idea for future builds.) And also using levers can make a good ceiling light paired with end rods but you probably already know that to.

Wow, I can't tell you how refreshing this is to see. I did the same thing - started our survival mode city back in college with my friends, but eventually switched over to creative so I can just enjoy the building process without all the grinding. I don't have the free time I had back then anymore! The fact you're doing the exact same thing helps validate me a bit, lol. Great builds!

there is something just amazing about modding minecraft to create your own little perfect version of the game. like its so cool not only building in your world and exploring your world, but like the world itself and its content were hand selected to your liking. i have created my own modpack over the past year or so that is much less vanilla than this one but it is sorta like my own perfect version of minecraft and finally sitting down and just enjoying it was so immensely satisfying.
