you should get this mod called "Effortless Building" it will make it way faster to build and also make it so you could do more in a video you should try it!
Hi CSX42, at the end of the platform where there is an empty space I think you should build a signal box where you can control the points and you could also add some signals to the track and control them from there as well.
@@lechking941 probably a more complicated one but one that works very well in tandem with this mod is immersive engineering. It has the ability to create redstone wires that have unlimited signal range. I have built signal boxes with them and the wiring is both simple and looks amazing. But it is quite difficult to get used to
@@tenseven1398 thing is i think he has immersive engineering IN there. but that with immserive engineering can quickly become endless or near endless goodies like i have made a endless tunnler once for the sakes of faltting a moutian and well im just lucky i can stop it :P and i keeped the chunk loader mod i have disabled. both togeth with immserive rail is nutty in terms of what you can do.
Just an interesting fact about IR. You can blow the whistles on the locomotives. I think the key to blow the whistle is the numberpad enter key (The enter thats all the way to the right of the keyboard). If this doesnt work, you can go into controls and change the whistle to whatever you want.
by the way.... the consolodation has nice little paint designs and it looks just like the 0-8-0 haha Edit: i know you like that tiny little tank engine and all, but i would make the track over by that a bit longer and do a slightly bigger tank engine so it doesnt struggle as much going up that hill.
There is a mod called “Railstuff” and it adds switch levers and signals that all work with immersive railroading (fair warning: signals are a bit difficult to set up but with some googleing you can figure it out.)
This little station is adorable! I definitely think putting in a signalbox for the points would be awesome and not too hard to link up with redstone. Can't wait to see the little shed for the switcher!
Hi! So question, I watched your second minecraft train video recently, and I heard you say a way to have loco's run instantly rather then needing fuel or needing to warm up, could you possibly tell me how to do this? It seems very nice to have! :)
If you want to speed up the process of building so you can start laying the track you should download a mod called effortless building it really speeds things up on my worlds
I have the mods in 1.12.2 but i dont have all trains and i dont have any buffers and there are much less things than you have like i can place engines and tracks and coaches and drive but nothing else like WHERE ARE MY BUFFERS :(
you should build a small signal box in the gap at the end of the platform! that would look awesome and could even be a hub to remotely switch junctions!
1:45 I love the C16 too its soo F&*%ing cute It's just SOO SMALL!! Also (I'm not bragging) I have 2 great worlds with IR in them I named them "The Keyblock Village Railway" and "Keyblock Remaster" C16s run in both worlds.
Red stone wires from IE can make it where you can control switches from a distance and a cool side effect is the wires that you can make look very nice.

Any plans to add a model trainset in one of the villagers houses or at the train station? Could just be a simple layout, but might be a nice little touch. Also, another thought I had was after the main line is finished, you could build one of those rideable miniature railways to one of the villages. Just something for the ole idea book down the line.
CSX can you make a server where it's like a Tycoon a player can have there own Train Company they can do Transport Cargo transport Passengers and they can earn that way and you need In-game money to buy new trains and Tracks and other things Like Deco for your Station and Upgrade your Storage And need Different Tiers of Train to do finish a Contract that will be cool
if you want easy remote Redstone either immersive engineering's Redstone wires (a option you can have by not adding more than what often is asked of by the railroading mod, or use like create mod's Redstone Wi-Fi system, all ya need is say some wool and you can make your lines remote controlled from a hand held item OR from a switch box room. now railroading also has options for open computers but thats a mod i can barly understand.
This will be a good game for you to play it's call "railroads online" you can do a single player word if you want and I just think that you would love it is based on the old time trains so like old old steam trains. Just a video idea. If you was wondering it's on steam kind of ironic because it's based on steam trains and... You know what I'm not going to finish that I just want to watch this video.
Hey csx42 i think it would be amazing if you made a sever where people could join and build trains and lay track and even build towns to connect the tracks because me myself love trains just as much as you do if not more but as well as other people and this is just a thought for in the future
Ok I dont know if you’ll accept but can you use some British locos like tornado and some others and you can use usa aswell if u want but I like usa and British but if u dint that’s completely fine!
Soo I think if you wanted to remotely control those switches. You can run redstone lines and repeaters under the ground so long as the end of the redstone is directly underneath the lever. I would have to test that idea out and for that blank space you could do maybe a small switch tower. Just a thought! Either way I'm new hear and love this !
You should use the Class 43 HST or the 125 as a non stop high speed service, and if there is a first great Western livery you should use it as it is the best livery ever on the 125
You should mess with the Create mod and try to use that with track switching. The Create mod has wireless transmitters that you can set up to wirelessley control the track switchings.
