Hi, i will be doing a video about this in the future. the filter pit is angled to one corner where there is another small,deep pit. In the pit there is a sump pump that pumps the water to a drain when the water level gets high enough. Thanks for watching!
Get your wetland filter right you will not need to go to the expense of a drum, check out The Pond guy ( Greg Wittstock ) aquascape , Ozponds . Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you fella .
@@wayneyard4300 Hi Wayne. Yes I fully agree with this and I have done some ponds utilising a wetland filter as the only source of filtration. For my pond though, I could not make one any where near the size required to handle heavy feeding to 15+ koi. That’s why I opted for a drum filter and k1 media before the wetland as my sized wetland would not be man enough on its own. Thanks for watching :)
