Devin, I have a question about accumulating Turbine helicopter hours. I know you did in the private industry, but should I and others consider like Coast Guard helicopter operations! Positives to this is making money while building it. A Great life experience! And complicated advanced diverse flying! And saving lives! Hope to hear from you! I’m about to quit my job as an EMS pilot flying an EC130 been doing it 19 years. My base pay is about $114,000 a year it’s a joke. With geo mods and cashing out PTO I make about $145,000 a year. Yes you can get all the overtime you want you can make $250,000 a year if you want no life and want to work 12 on 2 off all year and have no life (12 hour shifts) This was a second Job for me so the pay wasn’t as critical (i had other sources of passive income) but for you My suggestion is go with the airlines. You’ll be making in 2 years what EMS helicopter will take you 20 years to make base, and in 15 years you’ll be making $350-$400,000 a year as an international captain for major airline

But what if you love helicopters? NGL Airline flying is boring AF. Just live like you are broke, and you will be rich!
