Nobody really knows how much anyone is hurting. You could be standing next to someone who is completely broken and never know it. I may not know your struggle but I know pain very well. I know it sucks.. but simply having someone being kind helps more than they will ever know.
With the area outside of your room that you're trying to figure out what to do with, I think it would be a dope Idea to make it what I call the "Center of Peace" you put big throw pillows all over the floor, have a few plants, a small book stand with Bibles and notebooks, words of affirmation on the walls, a stand for a bottle of anointing oil and just use it to relax, read, meditation, prayer and some of the best naps and teach the kids about the area as well. Just an idea for you.💖
I’m so glad you found someone that you can really be yourself around. It’s hard to find a female friends that you can actually be yourself around without them hating on you. You guys look like you have a great friendship and I’m happy for you guys!!
Queen you should consider an interior decorator so they can help you figure out what to do with all the space in your house and they can make everything more cohesive. Plus you can really elevate the look of your home and add a bit of everyone’s touch in the design process 😇

You can make the empty room into like a lounge/loft space with a couch, accent chairs, nice rug, other decor, etc. Kind of like a mini living/family room w/ or without a TV.

Make that room like a reading room/lounge room to unwind. So like, beautiful wall to wall bookshelves with African art and a beautiful sofa or chaise or recliners to read and meditate.
